Chronic Stomach Pain & Fatigue

Hi, I am 21, I am constantly tired, if I go for a ten minute walk I have to spend the rest of the day in bed, I wake up exhausted and aching, this started after a severe sinus/lymp infection approx 8 years ago. I get severe stomach cramps/pain usually at night sometimes early morning, which started when I was about 6, after I was forced onto carrot juice and tomato juice diets for months, also having to drink bleach etc. I am constantly nauseous, and vomit if I eat or not, on average 1 to 10 times a day. I get aching joints, hot/cold sweats, pains in my chest, and find it very hard to breathe, please don't get confused those are not from panic attacks or anything similar. Zofran does help sometimes to stop me vomiting, most pain killers don't work cause I can't keep them down. The doctors, don't have standard blood tests and ct scans of my stomach, an sent me off to a psychologist who said I just need a social life.

I have also tried,(not all at once) ACV, Baking Soda, Citric Acid, Turmeric, Cayenne, Honey, Slippery Elm, Ginger, Hydrogen Peroxide, Kelp, Cinnamon, Mint, Garlic, most made my stomach cramp severely, and some like Slippery Elm works occasionally.

I am yet to try oil pulling.

I am desperate I don't know what else to do, please help, I appreciate any suggestion of what to try next.

Hello Happydude,

I like that upbeat name for a fellow who has been having so much trouble for so long. It tells me you still have a good outlook & expect to get better. First off, I have one question. What are you drinking bleach for? Just the thoughts of drinking that stuff makes my stomach cringe.

With your history of troubles starting after having a severe sinus infection 8 years ago, it makes me wonder if a series of antibiotics killed off the good guys in your GI tract and let the bad guys in there with them take over and proliferate, thereby giving you a case of systemic candida albicans. You can find quite a bit of information on line about this problem.

One of the first things that come to mind is Ted's recommendation of methylene blue (which is used to kill molds in aquariums). You will also find plenty of recommendations on line for treating systemic candida. If you haven't already tried replacing the good guys in your GI tract commercial preparations called probiotics are used but are quite expensive. You can also type in "cultured cabbage recipe" in the search window and get the recipe for making your own which is much cheaper and it is supposed to be the grandaddy of all the probiotics. Recommendations are to continue to drink it daily until your stool floats, so I assume that means you have succeeded in replacing the good guys.

One other thing you might want to look into is SSKI. If SSKI in the search window doesn't bring up anything just try again with typing "potassium iodide" (which is saturated solution of potassium iodide or SSKI). This should bring up several pages of references. Look for the one that mentions Tahoma Clinic and click on it. You can then download it for free (6 pages or lonly 3 if you print both sides). This is a handy reference to keep on hand as good old SSKI has been around a long time and has multiple uses. This article gives you instructions on using it to treat various problems. About the only contraindications for SSKI is an allergy to shellfish or iodine. I have also learned that SSKI works well on several things not mentioned in this article, but you can find many other uses for it on line. Seems it works to kill most pathogens (bacterial, viral, parasites, fungi, etc). Potassium iodide is also what you want to have on hand to flood your thyroid with in the event of another Chernobl nuclear mishap, to prevent it being destroyed by radiation. Hang in there, Happydude, and keep us posted on what you tried and how well it worked.

What do you mean when you say you were made to drink bleach? That sounds like child abuse to me, and if someone forced you to drink bleach when you were a child, you might want to think about seeing a psychologist, not a psychiatrist, about it, because that kind of abuse can really wreck havoc with a person's life and health. But to help your stomach in the mean-time, you might want to investigate some stomach-soothing herbs like marshmallow and slippery elm made into teas and try eating small amounts of plain, regular (not low-fat or non-fat) yogurt, maybe 2 ounces at a time, every couple of hours throughout the day and just before you go to bed. If someone forced you to drink bleach and you told the psychiatrist, and he/she dismissed you by saying, basically, "get a life", then you need to find a better doctor; one who is compassionate and treats you with respect.

Hi again,

Just thought I'd update, I have been in hospital I have been diagnosed with endometriosis just waiting for the test results to confirm. However since that has been removed I still am vomiting and have severe stomach pains, dizziness etc...

I did try oil pulling (stilling doing oil pulling) it certainly makes you feel good but hasn't much helped with the symptoms yet.

Next step is to try the probiotics and methylene blue. As for the psychologist and psychiatrist I am still trying to find one that will listen to me as they can't handle hearing what happened and I am getting passed around like a rag doll.

I thank you very much for your advice, it is much appreciated.

To Happydude from Australia:

Hello Happydude,

I am most confused. With a name like Happydude, my mind automatically categorized you as a male, but endometriosis is definitely not a female complaint!

Now lets get back to the problems you otherwise have. You can pull up recipes for cultured cabbage on line & in 3 days have your first batch ready to start drinking it for those probiotics you need. That is said to be the granddaddy of all probiotics and very cheap if you make your own.

Green smoothies made from dandelion, dock, broad leaf plaintain, wild onions, and other so-called weeds from your yard. You can also use greens from the supermarket such as spinach, kale, turnip greens, etc. Just wash them, put in the blender with unchlorinated water and puree or liquefy. If you happen to have access to fresh mint, it is a great stomach soother and will also improve the taste of those green smoothies. Since the ingredients should be gathered and prepared daily, those from your yard will probably be fresher and more nutritious (stay away from the roadsides because of exhaust fumes contamination) and any plants that have been sprayed to eliminate insects and pests.

Don't worry about finding that psychologist/psychiatrist until you get your health in better shape. Please don't jump to the conclusion that I think you have cancer, when I tell you to go back to EC and look up that maple syrup/baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) cure for cancer recently mentioned. Remember the Italians are treating cancer patients with baking soda to kill off the mold that they say always accompanies or precedes cancer.

It was on EC recently and Deirdre can probably tell you exactly what page to look for it. on. The objective is to sweeten up the baking soda with the maple syrup (don't know if honey would be just as good or not) so that those hungry little trouble causing molds will latch onto the sweet maple syrup, not knowing that you have booby trapped it with the baking soda, but they should die happy being full of their preferred sweet stuff, while it bombards it with the baking soda which kills it. An article I read 10 or 15 years ago in Omni Magazine, on systemic candida stated that it creates such havoc because it throws every hormone & enzyme in the body out of balance, thus affecting the entire body including the brain. So your whole body should recover once you kill off the mold and can give your body the nutritious foods it needs to work with to regain your health.

With all the stress you have been under and the digestive problems, you are probably depleted of B vitamins in particular and also magnesium. Go to EC for transdermal magnesium supplement to replenish your magnesium without worsening digestive/bowel problems. For the B vitamins, try oral first but might have to try transdermal on them
also if you can't keep them down. Suggest that you get a good stress tablet, which is B complex with vitamins C & E also. Two of them at mealtime and bedtime initially won't harm you, but when you feel you are much better, then slow down to 1 tablet at mealtime and bedtime. Most likely you won't feel the need to continue looking for a psychiatrist or other mental health practitioner, because your brain can make a great recovery along with the rest of your body. So get going and keep us posted so your EC family can cheer for you as you cross the line back into good health.
