My father is pretty bad with copd and gets a lot of chest infections. He also is type 2 diabetes. Any help would be great.

Dear John1974,

Please look in to Bill Munroe's hydrogen peroxide inhalation therapy on this website as a first step.

Mama, is there a link to buy this stuff and be shown how to measure it out to 3%.

Dear John1974,

When we have used the hydrogen peroxide inhalation therapy, as described by Bill Munroe on this website, and demonstrated by Deirdre, on the Video page, we have used 3% Hydrogen Peroxide from the drug store or grocery store. I look for one that has only "purified water" as the inactive ingredient. (In other words, no other fillers or preservatives.)

When we have used hydrogen peroxide in a nebulizer machine, we use 5 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide with 35 drops of distilled water in the medicine cup. We use it between one and four times a day, depending upon need.

Some people use the food grade 35% hydrogen peroxide and dilute it. I have been too intimated to use it because it is dangerous if not diluted properly or if it gets on the skin before diluted. But I am not sure where you would get that in Ireland.

Your father may experience more coughing at first because this may cause him to cough up stuff that is in his lungs. It may be best to start slowly with whatever you choose.

If you can get Mullein Tea, that is also good for the lungs. It is mild tasting. I mix it with some peppermint tea when I made it.

Also, if your father doesn't already, supplementing with Vitamin C and Vitamin D may help him to prevent some infections.

Currently, my husband has a bad cough that came on all of a sudden. He is finding that Vinegar Tea gives him some relief. We put 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar and 1 Tablespoon Honey into a mug with hot water. I don't know if your father could use honey. He could add a couple of drops of Stevia extract instead to sweeten it if he cannot have honey. Some diabetics also find that Raw Apple Cider Vinegar helps with blood sugar. Many people take it daily. I usually do.

Let us know how your father does with what you try!

Dear John1974,

Yes. I measured out 35 drops and also "just under 2 ml" and my 1/2 teaspoon was almost full for each. For ease sake, you could round up to 2 ml of distilled water and add 5 drops of hydrogen peroxide. Erring on a bit more of the distilled water is fine.

Hi Mama. I started my father on the peroxide and using the nasal spray today for the first and he hasn't used his nebulizer once today and he is usually on it 3 times a day lol. I have also noticed he seems more alert, I guess because he is getting more oxygen. I'll keep you posted.

much love

Dear John1974,

Wow, how wonderful! So is he using just the nasal pump for inhalation or also diluted peroxide in the nebulizer? I am curious.

Either way, thrilled for his improvement and I know you are too.

Hi mama. He is just using the nasal spray, he tried it at 3% and was burny on his throat so I added a 1/4 of distilled water and it removed the burn sensation. This is his 3rd day using it, 2 squirts morning and 2 going to bed. If all goes good I'm going to increase it by one pump each week. No mucus or spit showing yet. I will keep you informed. Love john

Hi Mama, I'm starting my father on neb h202.

I don't have distilled water, I just have a brita filter. Is this ok to use in place of distilled?

Dear John,

I think filtered water will be fine. My concern would be straight tap or well water because I wouldn't want to be putting into the lungs any bacteria or chemicals from the water, or having anything in the water that might react with hydrogen peroxide.

Looking forward to hearing how it goes!

Hi mama. I'm continuing to give my father h202 via nebulizer he is using it 3 times a day and has had no chest infection since being introduced to this treatment. I'm noticing him starting to cough a lot more recently and I can hear the mucus in his chest but he is struggling to get it up from his chest. so that's pretty much all I can say at this minute but ill keep you posted on his progress

Hello John, I am 70 years old and for years I had been plagued with chest problems. Every time the cold weather set in I would need the Ventolin to assist my breathing until......after a Homeopathic consultation I took Phosphorous LM2. I am now free of any breathing difficulties........another Homeopathic minor miracle.

Mama, is there anything else I can give him as well as giving him h202 for preventing chest infections?

Dear John1974,

Vitamin C, Zinc, and Vitamin D are are good things to supplement to prevent sickness.

Astragalus root is a great herb to strengthen the immune system and is very gentle. Of this, your dad could take 2 capsules twice a day, or you can buy the dried root and make a tea for him. You could combine it with some mullein leaf, which is great for the lungs. Then you would mix 1 teaspoon of each, pour a cup of almost boiling water over it, let it sit 15 minutes, strain, sweeten with some honey. You could add some peppermint if he likes mint. This tea, once or twice a day, would be good for the immune system and the lungs.

Elderberry is another great herb for strengthening the immune system. You can buy an Elderberry syrup or make one.

You could do any or all of the above. It often depends on the nature of the patient as to how well suited each would be. (Some are less cooperative about pills, others about teas, etc.) I try to work with the patient with what is easiest for them to tolerate.

Update on my father's progress using Bill Munro's method. Continuing to take 2ml of water with 5 drops of hydrogen peroxide 3 times a day, and not a chest infection in 5 months. So who ever replied to my plead, I can't thank you enough for this miracle. Much love
