Any Other Ideas for Fighting Melanomas?

I have a Paso Fino mare with external melanomas (gray mare) and a baseball size one superior to the rectal/colon area and below the spine. I was planning to treat with Cimetidine and Paw Paw for immune support. I want to lower the acid in the system and hopefully the better immune system can work on it from there. Does anyone have other ideas?

Hi Sigrid, I realize this is late, but may help someone else with horse problems, especially if there are occult or nonspecific infections which defy diagnosis-
I hope this helps someone.
