Are The Bumps and Scabs on Top of Dog's Head Mange?

My 3 year old boxer recently started getting bumps on his head and side of his face. After a couple of days they began to scab over and now he is losing hair. Could this be mange? We recently went to the beach for a couple of days and he started developing it the day after returning.

Looks like mites to me. Spray with apple cider vinegar, and smother spots in olive oil.

EC: Apple cider vinegar should be diluted to 50% with water before use on pet's skin. For example: 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar plus 1/2 cup water.
