Borax Effective at Killing Hookworms in Dogs?

I suspect my dog my chihuahua has hookworms cuz I myself suspect I have them. do I need to have a test a stool test done to confirm the hookworms before using borax or will it help until I get a stool test and if so that it will help what is the protocol for dogs and humans?

Hello Tammie,

Borax does a good job on skin mites, and also helps knock down systemic yeast, but I am not aware of it working on large parasites like intestinal worms. Your best bet is to see your vet and human doctor. Hookworms can do a lot of damage and can kill puppies. Please see your species appropriate doctor for the appropriate medication.
