Why Are Boron Levels Undetectable After 18 Months on Ted's Borax Dosage?

My husband and I just had a hair analysis done and we were SHOCKED to find out that Boron was undetectable because we have been taking Ted's recommended dose of Borax for about 18 months now. I read that hair analysis was a very effective way to determine Boron levels but I am very disappointed in the outcome. Does anyone have any idea what I can do about this? Earth Clinic was a real source of support when we began our Borax routine!
