Schizophrenia Medications Have Not Helped My Son
Please someone help me help my son
My son is 21 years old and he is mentally handicapped and was diagnosed schizophrenic after he was bullied at school so badly that the first incident the whole football team tea bagged him on the football field and then the two boys that started it got out of a juvenile detention center at YRDC Kearney NE and my husband and I was not notified that these two boys were let out. My son did not ride the school bus home because he was to scared to ride it home with the boys on the same bus.
As he was walking home along the railroad tracks, the two boys caught up with him and was trying to tie my son down to the train tracks. I think god everyday that a railman worker caught this and stopped this from happening. Prior to this my son never was able to like himself for himself. He always tried as hard as he could to be everyone else just to try and have a friend since never once in life has he had one who did use him or just be his friend long enough to bully him and make fun of him. I was his only friend his whole life my husband and I even paid 1500 on him all name brand clothes and shoes just to try and prove to him it didn't matter what he wore or who he tried to be would make no difference that kids don't understand that you have a different way of learning and that you have pretended to be everyone else because you wanted them to like you. We tried councling and counclors would send him home saying he don't listen and he don't even try to do what we suggest.
So he had imaginary friends his whole life besides myself, my husband, my husband's brothers. Even my own brother and sister shunned him and casted him off as someone they didn't even know at school and allowed these kids to mistreat him. My husband and I didn't even know this was happening until our son got a job at the place as my youngest brother and the manager called us one day saying it wasn't working out Tanner was learning nothing and he keeps pestering and following one boy crying saying why won't you help me why don't you at least try and help me or at least be my friend here we are not at school and the boy keeps telling him I don't know what your talking about. My husband says is the kids name and gave my brother's name saying that is his uncle that is three months younger than Tanner they live together and we take them and pick them up to and from work and school. This is craziness this isn't really going on is it.
So we asked to see the camera's sure enough there was our son crying and begging his uncle. So we went to the school the next day to see the horrors of our son caring his food to the boys bathrooms and his uncle and aunt casting him off as nothing the second they hit the high school doors until they got into the car at night. Then they acted all loving and caring and told us the horrors our son dealt with and the crap they got from their friends for protecting him until we walked them back into the school and said lets watch this shall we and see you protecting your nephew not once infact they were the ones starting some of it. So is there any possible chance that there could be another diagnosis than what was given to our son because every medication that has been given to our son has made his symptoms so bad that he don't even know himself half the time. We have tried about 100 different medications since he was 15years and the hospital just sent him home today with him worse off than what he went in. He doesn't want to take all this medication he never has please someone help me help my son please I am begging you to please help me help him with all this crap that does not work.

Read The Nutrient Factor by Dr William Walsh. My shrink had me read it and she found I was very High in copper and low in zinc. Find a doc or naturopath who was trained by Dr Walsh.

Find a doctor who will give him vitamin B12 shots. It has to be shots, not oral supplements. If you google B12 and schizophrenia you will find a lot of information. Here is a sample,

I would like to speak to the family (mother) of the young boy with the Diagnosis of Schizophrenia. My son is 53 and was diagnosed as Chronic Paranoid Schizophrenia in 2007, he was placed on Antipsychotics for 6 weeks after being in hospital for 6 weeks. So 12 weeks he gained 50lbs, slept 18 hours daily & had a hard time breathing.

Best thing to do is Home School, and I'm sure you can also find groups and other home schoolers in your area, they are all good people, and mostly Christians.
As far a meds for your son, you might try natural vitamins and herbs to help him, however my wife has been taking Nortriptyline from the TEVA brand for 25 years 25MG and it works good for her. However I would really look into a natural alternitive, Vit D-3 and B-complex vitamins. Good food and such!

Also, links to content on the Earth Clinic website can change, due to how new content is added to the initial page of a topic, thereby pushing older content to higher numbered pages.
For example, content found at a link that has schizophrenia.html in the link might later be found at a link with schizophrenia2.html or schizophrenia3.html in the link. The numbers in the webpage names that are found in the links can thus keep increasing.
