Can Glycerin Borax Be Used As A Substitute for Ted's Mange Remedies?

Posted by Dennys (Thailand) on 09/19/2015

Hi Ted,

Let me first thank you so much for your efforts on this website. Being in Foreign land of Thailand trying to make sure my pooch gets the proper treatment is quite a challenge.

I managed to find Glycerin Borax and was wondering if that can be used as a substitute for the Borax in your recipe of Borax, Hydrogen Peroxide and Water to treat Mange in dogs?

I appreciate you sharing your wisdom and have a great weekend!

Cheers, Den

Hey Dennys - in case Ted is too busy, he has stated before that you can ask your pharmacy to order the borax. So if you do not see it on the shelves, ask the store manager and see if it can be ordered in for you.
