Can I Use Coconut Oil for Toddler with Reoccurring Tonsillitis?

Just wondering if giving coconut oil to a toddler would be okay.,My son is 1 years old and keeps getting tonsillitis. Went to ear nose and throat specialist and they want to remove tonsils adinoids. Not real keen on this as he is so young... does anyone know how I could use the coconut oil for my son as he won't know how to gargle and spit... any help would be great!!!

Years ago when we lived in Whyalla, South Australia, my son had the same problem. Recurring tonsillitis for which the doctor only gave antibiotics. I read a homeopathic book by Dr Bajaj and Dr Tandon. It mentioned that this tendency could be a sulfur deficiency. We gave my son homeopathic Sulfur 200 once a week for three months. Tonsillitis attacks lessened dramatically.
