Suggestions for after care for dog post instestinal surgery

In need of some advice for our 12 year old female dog Chubby. Yesterday she had an emergency intestinal surgery to remove a portion of her large intestine as it had become strangulated through her hernia ring. She had to have a portion of the intestine removed and rejoined together as it had lost oxygen and blood creating necrosis. She is doing good so far looking a lot more alive however I am worried about infection if the surgeon was not successful in cutting out all of the infected section and it could spread from there.

Also I am worried about leakage from the intestine through the body. Is there any types of herbs, or natural remedy that could assist in healing and to fight off the possibility of infection. I know slippery elm powder is good for healing the stomach lining though I am not sure what would be the best thing for her right now. She was prescribed cladaxxa antibiotics and I also asked the vet for a probiotic he gave us the purina fortiflora. There is also a pain killer to give to her tomorrow. I was thinking of trying to find nux vomica for the anaesthetic toxicity and the drugs as I have used this in the past and seen great improvement. Anything on hand would be great as we will in a smaller town in Croatia some things are hard to get locally.

We have in our cupboards: ACV, wakame seaweed, siberian ginseng, spirulina, chia seeds, milk thistle seeds, cranberry powder, maca, lugols iodine and sodium ascorbate vitamin c powder.

Please any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
