Cat Diagnosed With Stomach and Liver Cancer

My 8 year old cat was diagnosed with stomach and liver cancer 2 days ago. I had the option to put him down or bring him home. I chose to bring him home even though they said he would only live 2 to 3 weeks. They only symptom that he had was weight loss. Other than his tummy being a little sore from the surgery, which they couldn't remove the tumor because of its location, he is acting like he always has. They sent us home with prednisone. Is there anything I can do do that will help with his treatment. I'm not ready to give up on him. He is everything to me.
