Any thoughts on treatments other than surgery would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Colle,

1. Ayurvedic physicians successfully treat this condition, many online.

2. There is a Traditional Chinese Medicine on Google Patents (CN103908557A - 2014) that eradicates this condition without surgery. They use various herbs.

3. Other herbal treatments in literature: red onion ear drops; red onion warm poultice; vinegar 15 mins. followed by 3% H2O2 drops 15 mins; iodine drops; etc. Need to dissolve the cysts. Consult with doc prior to using.

NOTE: regarding surgical removal - every "speck" of this must be removed during surgery or it grows back.
