Frequent UTIs Since Spinal Cord Injury in 1988
★★★★★
1 dropper full Methylene Blue 0.5 AM and 1/8 heaping teaspoon each borax and baking soda PM
Good morning from Houston Texas,
I had a spinal cord injury in 1988 that caused neurogenic bladder/bowel. I self cath for the urinary condition. As I mature, UTI's are more frequent and were making me sick until I started using MB in the morning and Borax/baking soda evening. Baking soda works really well for deep heartburn/reflux so I'd prefer to not stop it. I've been doing this regime for 3 months, my urine is healthy and I've had no UTI's. I stopped the MB for a week and got sick. I don't really know what's going on, I had a sore throat for a brief moment and quite nasally so I find it quite unnerving to be walking around with a fever only. I can go to the local drug dealers office if necessary. I already went to the local urgent care and was tested for UTI, covid, flu and strep but all negative. I am insulin dependent, so I stay proactive. I was wondering if I'm using too much MB & Borax or to see if you have a better regime. I may be going overboard. As I have aged, the UTI's are now making me sicker and want to continue my regime but was wondering what you may suggest or recommend. I would prefer to continue the more holistic approach instead of endless rounds of antibiotics.

Hi KimP,
D-Mannose can act as a UTI preventative for the majority of bacterial infections. E coli. is the most common bacteria that causes UTIs.
If you drink two 500 ml bottles of D-Mannose water per week, it will act to prevent many UTIs.
Add 1.5 teaspoons of D-Mannose to a 500 ml bottle of filtered water and shake well until dissolved. Drink one bottle every three or four days.
