Hello Amit,
Concerning your daughter's kidney situation; more info would help...has the kidney been giving low function levels for long...is this a KNOWN congenital issue?
Full function of one kidney is perfectly ok unless tumor obstruction is at work to cause dual kidney failure. I am presuming you are sure no tumors at work in her lower track...correct?
What are her creatinine levels? Should be OK since other kidney is functioning all right.
My experience with kidney issue is go slow until you are sure what the situation is...a person can live quite well with one kidney.
Could be infection in that one kidney...if me I would at least take some form of anti viral/bacterial/fungal. In India I don't know what is common in herbal medicine. Here in States I use Colloidal silver to kill infections.
I've seen a kidney "come back"...low function does not mean it is gone...it can overcome obstructions, infections etc. That is why I say don't jump to surgery too fast until you get second opinions.
