Diverticulitis Flare-Up Out of Town - Please Suggest Remedies

Diverticulitis flare up

I'm from Idaho, but I'm visiting family in San Diego, California. I ended up with diverticulitis flare up. I went to Urgent care Friday this is now Sunday morning. I got Augmentin for antibiotics and felt better yesterday. I might have made a mistake by eating mashed avocado. Today I'm going to the toilet several times already with soft stool. Only small amounts ( 1 TBSP) I was told if not feeling better today I should go to ER. I don't want to go through a bunch of tests and wait for hrs waiting to be seen. I put castor oil in my belly button. I'm drinking only clear liquids now. Is there any advice about what to do or not now? Im having cramping bloating and abdominal pain. Thank you
