Dog Was Constipated, But Now Has Diarrhea and Dry Heaving

My dog is 7 yrs and was constipated on Wednesday and now has diarrhea with some vomiting. What could be issue? He isn't hungry much either but drinking water.

Hello Christina,
You may be dealing with a medical emergency. It is hard to tell from what you posted, but it sounds as if there could be an obstruction in your dog's GI tract, or I have also seen these symptoms with a protazoal infection such as giardia. If this were my dog I would check the temp, and consider dosing vitamin C and echinacea. Please see your vet ASAP, and if the temp looks like it will rise over 103 I would go to the emergency clinic STAT.
