Ear and Side of Face Twitch for 5 Years - Please Help

Posted by Kristi (Pittsburgh) on 12/16/2023

For the past few years, it seems whenever I am stressed, I get this horrible "twitching" thing going on. It seems like an EYE twitch, but it it feels like it is earlobe, cheek, side of eye (temple I guess) and jaw - always on the right side and ONLY on the right side.

I've tried inositol which is good for "repetitive" things like OCD, hair pulling, and twitching. I wasn't sure if it would help this type of twitching but it usually does after a few weeks of almost going insane. It doesn't hurt, it is just really REALLY annoying.

I guess I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how you made it go away. It's insanely frustrating. I would ALMOST call it a tic more than a twitch.

I *AM* taking supplements, but I only started about 1.5 years ago doing an every day supplement protocol and this "tic" has been happening for 5+ years.

Hi Kristi,

A misalignment at C1, C2 or C3 can affect the nerves going to your face and scalp. If you have a good chiropractor or a friend can recommend one, you might consider looking into that possibility. A good chiropractor will be able to make the needed adjustments to eliminate that possibility or resolve the problem.

Hello Kristi,

My spouse has experienced this exact symptoms for a very long time. When he is under stress or around certain toxins the "tic" increases in frequency.

We finally "diagnosed" the condition as a heavy metal issue. We discovered this when he started taking 3-4 different chelators/binders daily and his tics increased from once every couple days to 20-40 times daily. Metals were definitely mobilized with his particular detox regimen (i.e., ToxinPul, ViRadChem Binder, BioToxin Binder).

So, he included Chlorella (specifically, ChlorEnergy) since it is such a potent heavy metal chelator, 15 tablets x2/day, and amazingly the tics stopped the day after he started taking them! We were both amazed.

Being versed in fungal/mold illnesses, he learned the hard way that specific chelators are needed for specific "jobs" and in specific sequences.

Chlorella is known to be the gold standard in chelating mercury though, it also chelates many other heavy metals and toxins.

Hope you find your answer soon.

Hello Kristi,

I forgot to mention that in addition to his specific detox regimen he was also working with dust from mixing brick mortar and grout which we know is full of toxins and heavy metals. So, these "airborne" pollutants may have also contributed to the unusual increase in daily tic episodes.

Hi Kristi

I read awhile ago that drinking Gatorade stopped an eye twitch.

Worth a try..

Best health
