Edema Issues After Two Surgeries

Posted by GertJr (Madison) on 04/18/2025

I had my gallbladder out in January and my meniscus repaired in February, so fairly major in a short time. I am still struggling with rehabbing the knee, with occasional swelling of that entire leg. I noticed today that now my elbow on that side is also swollen. I exercise, but not to the point of injury. I'm taking rutin, burdock root, kelp and echinacea for lymph drainage as well as plenty of other supplements - milk thistle, dandelion, green tea extract, lecithin, choline, inositol, glycine, methionine, as well as tudca and other digestive enzymes. Any thoughts on this swelling? I spend an hour in the evening with my leg straight up a wall and wear support hose during the day, and ice periodically. What else can I do?

There are recent posts here on EC about the use of homeopathic remedies before and after any surgery. Many ignore homeopathy, but little do they know what they are missing. Many post surgery complications could be prevented and fast recovery ensured if people were not so narrow minded.
please find those posts.

“There have been two great revelations in my life. The first was bebop, the second was homeopathy.”
–Dizzy Gillespie

“Homeopathy cures a larger percentage of cases than any other method of treatment and is beyond doubt safer and more economical and (the) most complete medical science.”
–Mahatma Gandhi

“I can't manage without homeopathy. In fact, I never go anywhere without homeopathic remedies. I often make use of them.”
–Sir Paul McCartney

Hi, have you considered Celtic sea salt and electrolytes? Oedema and inflammation can be water retention because real salt in the body isn't balanced. Red light therapy is also helpful to reduce swelling, making sure you are drinking enough clear fresh water is helpful too.

I'm doing this already, not celtic but Himalayan pink salt as well as Baja Gold salt (I keep one at work for my water bottle). I also drink at least a gallon of filtered water daily. And I have a red light laser attachment for my spooky2 setup, which I have not used but will start. Thanks.

Cell Salt #9: Natrum Muriaticum (Nat Mur)

It is found in all bodily fluids and is important for the proper functioning of mucus membranes. It's also found in your skin.

Nat Mur is the master regulator of fluids moving in and out of every cell. The water balance of people needing Nat mur is disturbed.
