Can Eggs and Chicken Really Cause Cancer? What's the Truth?

Posted by Diane (Riverside Ca.) on 01/16/2017

Hello, my husband and I started eating eggs for breakfast because we read eggs were healthy for people? Now we are reading that eggs cause prostrate and breast cancer? On top of this we read that chicken breast was healthy for people to consume?

Now we read that Chicken is a cancer causer? What are we now to believe? Does anyone know what is what about eggs and chicken? Thank you!

I think it depends on your chicken. When I eat one of the chickens I've raised from hatch, I know there's nothing harmful in them. If you eat a chicken you buy from the store, you don't really know what's in it. Was it healthy when butchered or sick? Was it fed with antibiotic 'enriched' feed? Was the processing facility clean? Was the packaging intact? Are the pieces in the package from the same chicken? Labeling as organic or free range really doesn't mean much.

NAMAW,,,,,,,, you are right on target. We buy eggs from Rex, a farm neighbor, who raises chickens as you do. He related that a friend came to them saying that the eggs he buys cause his wife to become ill and he wanted to try his. Rex knows that this farmer uses anti-biotic water, etc. to keep his chickens from getting sick. All the garbage gets into their eggs. The guy's wife had no issue with Rex's eggs.

That is the reason we raise most of our fruit, vegetables and buy our eggs from Rex. Eat better and live better.

Dear Robert Henry,

Wow, I can't imagine why that farmer you mentioned would need to add antibiotics to the water of his chickens. We have had chickens for 15 years in four different states and they are about the heartiest and easiest animals we have ever had. But perhaps we have been blessed to be in areas where they have not had much exposure to disease.

I think I have mentioned this before regarding eggs. When we had pigs we would feed them table scraps and such. They would eat nearly anything. They would eat the egg shells from our chickens. But they would not touch the egg shells from store bought eggs. Interesting.

HI U MAMA,,,,,,, yep, remember the slop bucket that my grandparents had. I was too small to carry that bucket down to the hog pen. Big Agri had laws passed that farmers can no longer use restaurant waste to feed hogs. You have to buy their feed. 'Mericans everwhar.

Rex told me another use for eggs shells. He puts them in the hole where he plants his tomatoes. Says it prevents end blossom rot. We never have that problem because we spread gypsum on our tomato row. Speaking of tomatoes...... we are now eating the last of the green tomatoes that we picked and wrapped the last of Oct. Working on our garden plan for '17 and we are going to plant the entire 100x100 garden in anticipation of the coming economic crisis.

Store bought eggs are washed with a kind of soap that leaves a residue.

I have been told this by organic egg companies and apparently they are required to do so.

I called them to find out about this because I smelled it on the eggs when I bought them. At one point the odor was so strong it even penetrated into the taste of the eggs!

Dear Diane,

The animals we eat or get milk and eggs from are being fed GMO grasses and grains. This cannot be avoided just due to wind and bird droppings which has gone on for decades. I don't know when genetically modified food began, but the video produced in the early 90's, "Food, Inc." declares that our food had been changing for over fifty years and that it was being engineered to last longer. I am in my late 60's and I can remember seedless grapes and watermelons when I was a kid. They had been genetically modified to grow that way.

Personally I think corn is the main culprit but all grasses and grains are affected. After my husband and I watched the video, we went through a summer of all free-range, grass fed animals, milk and egg consumption. I even screened the farm where our eggs came from. We had more constipation, indigestion, kidney pain, UTI's and incontinence until I went back to the grocery store purchases and reduced my meat consumption to no more than two or three ounces at a time.

My husband is a corn lover had a very large growth just under one of his breasts until he stopped eating so much corn. Can't confirm corn was solely the problem but I stopped buying it and the growth reduced in size and eventually appeared to go away.

The video encourages free range, grass fed animals and natural/organically grown vegetables but GMO's were not as pervasive when that was produced. I was also getting certified, organically grown carrots but my hubs and I had more trouble with candida. I then found out organics are grown in soil that contains a genetically modified fungus. There was my answer.

I only get 2% milk in glass bottles and eggs in cardboard containers.

With all due respect I have lost faith in the medical profession that could not give me some answers to problems I was having so I researched on my own and found more relief. My PCP said that medicine changes every four or five years. I believe it is because our food supply is changing and that also affects any supplements, prescriptions and any OTC medications.

I am sorry if this is overwhelming to you. This is just my opinion from what we have gone through here.

KT,,,,,,, I commend you on your research, but suggest you to dig a little deeper. For instance, our Ison muscadines are far sweeter and larger than the native grapes. They got that way not by modifying the fruit's enzymes, but by planting thousands of seeds and some of these plants were naturally sweeter and larger. Then they propagated those same plants. It was all done using what nature produces. Not so with GMO's as they are modified in the lab by chemists and there is nothing natural about them. Your gut bacteria does not recognize these plants and that is the reason everyone is obese and sick. They cannot be properly digested.

The wild animals know this and that is the reason squirrels eat natural corn before they eat GMO corn. You are right about grass fed animals. They eat what is in the grass and it is usually liter from arsenic fed chickens. The cows eat that grass and arsenic is in the meat and the milk. A few years ago we decided not to ever drink pasteurized cow's milk again. We have not missed it. Rural folks are getting raw milk by buying shares in a farmer's cow. The Mennonites in our area are getting filthy rich doing this. It is against the law to buy raw milk unless you own that cow.

There is a big difference in Hybrid's and GMO's. You are a wise woman and I commend you on your post.

Dear ORH,

Thank you for the encouragement and sending ME back to school. I found this: http://www.smallfootprintfamily.com/hybrid-seeds-vs-gmos Because man has fooled around with the food to grow without seeds, it seems to me the "engineering" of the food is the same evil. It's the amino acids in the food. The fact that this article says Charles Darwin devised controlled genetic crossing should throw up red flags especially for evangelicals.

Whatever is being done to the food to alter it from the way God created it to grow is making people sick. Making food taste better does not mean it is better for you and could even be causing more harm. If you can make something stimulate your taste nerve cells what could this be doing to your brain? It's all got to do with amino acids. I could be wrong but whatever you did to the fruit to make it taste better, I would suspect if you had an amino acid profile done it would show an increase of glutamic acid or being out of balance with the other amino acids. I don't know a whole lot about amino acids but I know what I have experienced and because I trusted the Samuels' and applied what I was being taught by them, I began my healing process. I know amino acids have to be in balance the same as the B vitamins or they can be toxic.

Because food is being engineered to last longer assimilation is difficult if not impossible. Drought free, disease free, tassel free or without seeds and no matter what you call it, it has still been genetically modified in one way or another whether in a lab or naturally. It is my opinion the degree of infiltration of genetically modified organisms in plants can vary so some are not as concentrated and detectable as others.

There was a time eating more fruits, vegetables and whole grains was encouraged so now we have an epidemic of obesity, diabetes, and cancer. There is an increase of ailments from arthritis to the neurodegenerative diseases and it appears if MD's cannot put you in a one-size-fits-all category they're making up new diseases then new drugs are manufactured without long-term studies and are causing more reactions that require more medication. Lawsuits have been filed due to the harmful effects of the new drugs. There have been deaths reported.

I detailed a post for you some time back about how I had learned to eat my food for assimilation. I am a small person and even though I learned to reduce my portions to keep my weight down I started to retain fluid, swell up like a toad and could not lose the excess weight. My husband loves fresh fruit so having it here for him, I was eating it plus we ate more salads. Our entire food supply has been tainted and 1 John 5:19 (NIV) declares the whole world is under the control of the evil one. Everyone in the whole world has to eat. No matter what has been reported about microwave cooking, if vegetables are cooked in a clear glass casserole with a lid I believe it breaks down the food better so we get the nutrients. I found a report that it even increases the benefits of carrots. I do not use the microwave to cook meat.

It's was a piecemeal learning endeavor for over two decades and I tried to cram it all in at once for you. I guess it was too overwhelming. I think I've made some adjustments since then but preparing my food to help me heal is what I am still working on. Degeneration is an erosion but I also see slow progressive benefits from cooking vegetables until tender so nutrients are better absorbed. There are just no overnight quick fixes.

Science and medicine say one thing...my body was saying something else. I wrote to the FDA twice and sent copies to the Dr. who was on the CBN news and 60 Minutes after my letters had been returned, stapled to the envelopes with MSG propaganda. I had sent one letter certified, the other was restricted to Dr. Kessler with "Signature Requested" stamped all over the envelope. I did not receive any signatures. That MD (a toxicologist in NM) called me and put me in touch with the people who discovered what was happening to the food. They explained my letters were returned so the FDA could say they don't have enough complaints on file. I trusted the PhD. and her husband who educated me about the hidden sources of MSG. They had gone to the food industry and had them test their own products if they claimed no source of hidden MSG. They paid for some testing themselves. Some of these foods/ingredients were shown to be carcinogenic.

All corn is affected and dairy cows are fed more corn in the winter to keep up milk production. Even the free range cows. I noticed in the winter my whole milk had more "cream" at the top of the bottle. In addition it had a different taste. I also had these little cysts popping up under the skin on my face, neck, upper abdomen and even had one on my shin and a couple on the back of my arms. I had the ones on my shin, back of arms and a couple larger ones on my neck "frozen". I didn't record when those cysts popped up but after I figured out what could be causing them, I reduced my milk to 2% and voila they all went away.

I started to get "Spelt" from the Prairie Grain Bread Company because I was advised it was supposed to be easier to digest. The ingredients are stone milled spelt flour, filtered water, honey, sea salt and yeast. My glucose shot up from 92 to 106. Still, no proof it is solely due to the bread because all food is affected and it is hard to pinpoint. Haven't had recent CBC so I don't know what it is now. All fruits, vegetables and grains (including nuts) have to be broken down to simple sugar for your body to utilize. If food is now taking longer to digest for whatever reason I think this could be the cause of diabetes. I usually don't eat after 6 PM.

I had tried a gallon of raw milk once, I can't remember what happened but something caused me to call the dairy and ask if they were feeding their cows corn. They were. There is another video that may still be available at the library, "Milk In The Land: Ballad Of An American Drink" by Icarus Films that was very informative.

Again, I thank you for your kind words and hope some of the information I have shared will help you.

Love,

KT

Dear Diane,

I apologize for venting and going off on a tangent...to answer your question directly, as mentioned by others, it depends on what the chickens eat. I think nowadays everything can cause cancer if you eat too much because it is becoming harder to digest and that's why I think we see such an increase of obesity and diabetes. What cannot be assimilated is going to cause problems. I'll try to share what we have gone through.

I carefully screened a farm to see if they fed their free range chickens corn or soy because after I ate one hard boiled egg I got terrible indigestion. They advised me they purchased a special blend of grain from the Amish to feed their chickens. The label on the bag said there was corn and soy in the grain.

We had converted to free-range and "organic" for one summer. We had more indigestion, constipation kidney and bladder pain along with incontinence.

There is nothing to back me up on this except my experience. My theory is, the GMO grasses and grains that fatten up the critters is difficult for them to digest thoroughly. When we eat those eggs and/or animals I believe that undigested grain can still ferment and cause us harm. I had a lot of indigestion when I ate more chicken. I have to limit to not more than two or three ounces at a time. I cannot eat any reheated left over meat, especially red meat because reheating it increases the glutamic acid in the food and my fingers become painful and split.

It is also the glutamic acid in the food that stimulates the taste nerve cells (that's why leftovers taste so good).

I read an article written by an MD that went on a low carbohydrate diet to lose weight. While doing that he noticed he no longer had heartburn. So it was his conclusion that it was the excess carbohydrates that contributed to his heartburn. When I got indigestion from eating just an egg or too much chicken I naturally assumed it must be from what the chickens ate.

I can say without a doubt that my cancer was caused by us eating so much KCF chicken and Coleslaw in 1989. They seasoned their food with monosodium glutamate. We had gone through a tragedy and it was more convenient to get the KFC chicken at that time. Then I became aware of hidden sources of MSG. The consumer group I had joined reported that the MSG on the KFC chicken alone had been tested and was shown to be carcinogenic. Then for over two decades I have learned about hidden sources of MSG that can be carcinogenic.

There is a website that provides a list of hidden sources, www.truthinlabeling.org. This couple saved my life by helping me learn how to change my way of eating. I have become more clear minded and it is easier to keep my weight down.
