EYE DRYENESS, FATIGUE, JOINT PAINS, DIZZINES AFTER CHEMOTHERAPY FOR HODGKIN LYMPHOMA

Hallo Ted, thank you for your time, I hope you can send some helpful advise.

I will start from the start to give the history of my health.

10 years ago I had mycoplasma and took some antibiotics and after a while it dissapeared. after a couple of years I found I had it again and took antibiotics and it dissappered again.

Five years ago I had myscle pains in my back, arms, hips and some eczema in my hand and elbows.

2 year ago I had pains in my neck and after a xray scan found a mediastinal widening and after 9 months lympnodes in neck got swollen, had I biopsy and found it was Hodgkin lympoma stage IIB. I had 6 cycles of chemotherapy and it is in reccess. The problem is that until the 4th cycle I had I bit of annoyance from chemo but after the end of chemo and the 6th cycle I had major dizziness, neuroheadaches, my eyesight gotten worse, I had joint panis in hips, knees, and I have fatigue. My eyes are dry and after I wake up after a couple of hours my eyes get red and I feel relly tired. My cousin haw ankylopoitiki spoldilitis and a doctor told me to do some tests and I found that I am positive in HLA B27. Also I did a Schrimer test in the eyes and my the result was 15 for the left and 10 for the right. They said that it might be sjogren syndrome but nothing is for sure. I had also antibiotics for H-pylori after a gastroscopic inpection.

Also my mother after chemo she developed leykoencelopathy. Is it possible that I have the Jc virus?

To sum up I am 40 years old, last october I finished chemo and after one year I dont feel very healthy. I feel as if my brain doesnt wotk well, I am tired, my eyes are a bit dry, my stools are sometimes a bit soft. I feel desperate . I would be realy thankful if you could help me in any way.

Your sincerely

Dimitris

EC: Hi Dimitris,

Sorry to inform you but Ted is not longer able to correspond with Earth Clinic readers since his stroke in 2015. Perhaps one of our other wonderful contributors can advise...

Dimitris:

I will try to start you on a healing path.

Spend as much time reading remedies here on E.C. as there is lots of info already posted about your condition of Mycoplasma, Cancer, etc. and get as much local help as possible from Natural Dr's or Healers, Health-food stores, etc.

For Mycoplasma & Cancer take 3 hot baths per week with added 1/4 cup Epsom Salts & 1/4 cup Borax.

A very good Multivitamin/mineral supplement 2x day with meals.

Avoid processed sugar and GMO foods. Eat as healthy as possible, exercise, and Sunshine will help. If you can get fresh organic vegetable juice at local market drink lots of it or make your own juice.

For antioxidant protection and energy take Selenium + Broad Spectrum Vit-E + CoQ10/Ubiquinol once daily. 500mg Quercetin with first meal of your day so will have energy until retiring. When retiring or before bed-time take 3mg Melatonin.

Medical or Recreational Marijuana if it's legal in your country, if not try to purchase Hemp/CBD Oil.

Take capsules or softgels of Garlic & Oregano, and 500mg Lysine 2x daily with meal.

Hope this helps.

Hi Dmitris...I would second Timh's recommendations on the Borax protocol.

It might also be useful to know the many other benefits of boron (borax). I was recently refreshing my knowledge on borax and came across this interesting recent research article called Nothing Boring About Boron published in Integrated Medicine: A Clinicians Journal (2015). Most here already know the benefits of borax concerning fungus and candida, arthritis and removing fluorine from the body. But the findings in this research paper even surprised me and they include the following Boron/Borax benefits:

* Essenital to bone - can help cure osteoporosis and arthritis

* Greatly speeds up wound healing

* Beneficially impacts the body's use of estrogen, testosterone and Vitamin D.

* Boosts magnesium absorption. Boron also acts as a catalyst for the magnesium/calcium serum balance.

* Reduces levels of inflammatory biomarkers, such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and tumor
necrosis factor α (TNF-α);

* Raises levels of antioxidant enzymes, such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase and glutathione peroxidase.

* Protects against pesticide-induced oxidative stress and heavy-metal toxicity.

* Improves the brains electrical activity, cognitive performance, and short-term memory for
elders.

* Beneficially influences the formation and activity of key biomolecules, such as S-adenosyl methionine (SAM-e) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+).

* Has demonstrated preventive and therapeutic effects in a number of cancers, such as prostate, cervical, and lung cancers, and multiple and non-Hodgkin's
lymphoma;

* May help ameliorate the adverse effects of traditional chemotherapeutic agents.

The above research study also bravely says this:

"In none of the numerous studies conducted to date, however, do boron's beneficial effects appear at intakes less than 3 mg/d. No estimated average requirements (EARs) or dietary reference intakes (DRIs) have been set for boron—only an upper intake level (UL) of 20 mg/d for individuals aged ≥ 18 y. The absence of studies showing harm in conjunction with the substantial number of articles showing benefits support the consideration of boron supplementation of 3 mg/d for any individual who is consuming a diet lacking in fruits and vegetables or who is at risk for or has osteopenia; osteoporosis; osteoarthritis (OA); or breast, prostate, or lung cancer."

So please take note of the above research which is effectively saying that you will not get the above benefits of boron/borax if you take the pawlty FDA-recommended dosage of 3 mgs per day(which has no proven basis). So, it's therefore far better to take Ted from Bangkok's Borax Water protocol, which recommends much higher per diem borax dosages, if you want successful results with borax.

Hi Timh, I just found out that melatonin supplements are used in case of accidental vitamin D overdose because it binds up and removes all of the vitamin D out of your blood. I was taking melatonin about 50% of the time (for a couple of months) because I liked how quickly I'd fall asleep. But then I started noticing tooth pain in a couple of areas where I had fillings that had fallen out. I was concerned because the pain was the worst I've felt - as far as tooth pain goes.

First, I quit taking melatonin. I began taking high doses of vitamin D 50,000IU) daily cod liver and butter oil, cal/mag/silica supplement and dropping lugols iodine on the painful teeth/ old cavities. A couple of weeks later and I have zero pain. I don't know for sure if my teeth got better due to restored vitamin D levels... however that is the only thing I did differently (by eliminating melatonin, and adding vitamins d, a, k. I was already taking the cal/mag/silica with a small amount of Vitamin D included). Now for maintenance and because it's winter I'm taking around 10K IU of vitamin D daily.
