Father In Law Has Pulmonary Fibrosis

Posted by Deepak (New Delhi, India) on 05/09/2011

My father in law is suffering from this disease and the doctors say that his lungs are functioning at only 15%. They have kept him on steroids and immuno suppressants. He has the usual symptoms and shortness of breath and coughing. He is also on oxygen concentrator and bi-pap. However, these things are not helping much. What I want to know is that whether there are alternative medicines for this disease? If yes could someone please let us know whom to get in touch with and where with phone numbers and contact details. I would be most grateful.

Pulmonary fibrosis is a condition where the lungs produces excess proteins and autoimmunity. There is a comprehensive natural supplements that go beyond this posting. The general supplement that is needed are as follows: hyaluronic acid, aloe vera oil, N acetyl cysteine, digestive enzymes, lysine, glutamine, glycine, and threonine. There might be more that this but there are specific for different people. The hyaluronic acid is prepared in the following manner. Hyaluronic acid is 5 gram with 10 gram sea salt mixed in 500 cc of water. It is taken orally 20 ml. 6 times a day. What it does it gives flexibility and breathing by reducing resistance in the breathing passages. Different people responds differently and may require more dose as is necessary. In general it improves breathing. N Acetyl Cysteine, is commonly used in pulmonary fibrosis to get mucus out but also to detox the necrosis factor responsible for cascading events that occur in lung functions. There are more detox programs to get out that, such as hydrogen peroxide 3%, sodium thiosulfate, etc. But this is no get you started. Aloe vera oil is critical to the therapy and it has to be ALOE VERA OIL, it get hyper immunity back to normal and is responsible for generative normalization of the lung tissues. There are two methods of delivery. Orally or by breathing a water mixture with aloe vera oil. I prefer to do orally which is taken about 1 teaspoon a day anytime and to goes to the lung tissue to repair the damage and hyperactive immunity. There is one thing I left out that needs to be mentioned, L histidine needs to be taken at least 250 mg to get immunity normalized a day. N Acetyl Cysteine is taken at least 1 gram a day for three to four doses plus glutamine 1 gram 3 times a day, glycine 3 times a day. This is to ensure glutathione will be sythesize in the body. Digestive enzymes it needed to digest the unneeded lung tissue that is causing the blockages. It must be taken in fairly large amounts at least three times a day. I give you example, pancreatin might be needed 2000 mg a day in divided doses, proteases II, III, amylases, lactase, etc is taken 400 in divided doses, bromelain 400 mg., serrapeptase 400 also in divided doses. This is just an example and doses vary but this is the starting dose. I also like to use threonine which raises immune system also, and is taken 1000 to 3000 mg. The critical remedy will be the aloe vera oil and the hyaluronic acid. The Lysine is needed because most humans are severely deficient in lysine. I give you an example, in all livestock they give lysine because the structural integrity of collagen depends on that, but in human medicine this is lacking. In fact giving lysine for a couple of days, with threonine and glutamine for example there is a changes in skin and lung tissues in three days from dry and dark to moist and white as well as energy levels increase. The vitamin C and magnesium is the other that is deficient and magnesium I used is either magnesium chloride or magnesium glycinate or magesium ascorbate, other magnesium won't work or limited. Vitamin C is needed for normal collagen synthesis.

Hi Ted, I was at my wits end as my mom aged 63 yrs was told she had sarcodiosis (maybe wrong spelling) in Jan-2011 but was confirmed it was dormant. Now in May-2011 the Dr. says its IPF and has spread too much and may need to remove part of lung. She is currently in intensive care twice as she has had a major bout of infection and her BP fell to 70/50. I want to start her on the Indian Pennywort as its powder is very easily availble in India (but of course). Can you suggest how/what measure to consume this powder and how best to get her immunity up asap. Thanks a lot.

I used 20 drops three times a day of aloe vera minimum. Selenium and taurine may help too. Ted
