Help Needed For Infection Related to Spinal Fusion
Hi, My 16 years old had spinal fusion surgery 2 year ago. In March of this year, they had to take out part of rods because the screws were coming off. Now, a few months later, she had an infection and so, another surgery to remove all instrumentation and flush infection. She takes high doses of antibioics and pain medicine..They identified gram negative rod and Ecoli so far and are doing more cultures. What can I do to help support her inmune system....?
