Need Suggestions for 3 Months of Hives
Hives
I have suffered for 3 months now, the doctor prescribed Blexten 20 mg which I took for 30 days. As soon as I stopped they re appeared. I stopped Gluten completely for two weeks now. Started Nettle Tea - 4 times a day, Histaminum 200 CH - 3 times a day, Quercetin 500 mg in the morning, 1000 mg after dinner. Do not see any improvement, I want to avoid Blexten 20 mg because it does not solve the root cause of the problem, just treats a symptom. I do not eat processed food, fresh cooked lentils, rice, veggies, sometimes chicken or beef. The Hives surface on thighs, stomach, back, arms. I have high blood pressure and glaucoma for which I have been taking allopathic meds for 2 decades. I am 67 years old. I have had a sleep problem for nearly a decade now but avoid allopathic meds, take Melatonin 3mg and Magnesium Bisglycinate 200 mg before going to bed. Any suggestions/comments for getting rid of Hives will be deeply appreciated. I also take two spoons of Apple cider vinegar daily. Have been rubbing coconut oil on hives and find it soothing. Typically getting after after 2 hours of sleep because of Hives.

Hives is tuff. Sounds like your doing good stuff. You may be having gut problems. Low Histamine probiotics would be helpful. If you smoothie put a 1/4 teaspoon of garlic twice daily to clear bacterial issues. Need to take food base multi vit/min. lack of nutrients can leave you to be allergic to the food you eat. ex. low potassium can make diary allergic thus less abortion of nutrients and inflammation and increased histamine. Cleaning out your liver and kidneys aid in getting rid of histamine. Any allergy can cause histamine to rise even as simple as laundry detergent or a long time supplement for high blood pressure. I would go to a Naturopathic Doctor and acupuncturist to help resolve issues. They can give you a mast cell test and histamine test, check your thyroid.
Be self aware read this site and focus on what is causing issue.

I had a strange case of hives clear up when I took a half teaspoon of neem leaf powder and 10-15 drops of Grapefruit seed extract (Nutribiotic GSE) twice daily, for both.

You are still using an allopathic medicine approach. Please stop taking all supplements. Find a NAET specialist in your area. They are in demand - I had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment - follow his/her elimination protocols to a T. Also, find a homeopathic practitioner, many, if not all now offer their service over the internet (the remedies ordered and shipped to your home address). Check the site formandheal by Pailin Brzeski (there are many other sites) on how to dose and take homeopathic remedies - you'll need that, for you might start taking some remedies before you wait for the appointments. Start watching yt channel AllThingsHomeopathy. While you wait for the appointments start taking homeopathic remedies (you can order them for an overnight delivery from Amazon, order Boiron brand at 30c potency) based on your symptoms. You can start with the ones that closely match your symptoms (see formandheal guidance or AllThingsHopeopathy guidance). Dr.Malerba on AllThingHomeopathy has videos on some of the remedies that I am listing here-watch. Your condition is chronic and of unknown cause, don't expect immediate care.
Lastly, see if you have Five Element Acupuncture specialists in your area. Many are trained in NAET, homeopathy and herbology as well and offer treatments you never heard of such as homeopathic injections.
Here are the remedies you can start with:
Here are seven commonly used homeopathic remedies for hives:
1. Apis mellifica (Apis)
Often used for hives that are accompanied by intense itching, burning and stinging sensations. The skin may appear swollen, red and puffy. Exposure to heat may worsen the symptoms, while cold applications or cool air may provide relief.
2. Urtica urens (Urt-u.)
This is a common remedy for hives that are accompanied by intense itching and a burning sensation. The skin may have a blotchy appearance with raised eruptions. This remedy is also helpful for hives caused by food allergies.
3. Rhus toxicodendron (Rhus-t.)
Suitable for hives that are accompanied by intense itching and a desire to scratch. The skin may appear red and swollen. Warm applications or warm water may provide relief, while cold air or rest aggravates the symptoms.
4. Sulphur (Sulph.)
A remedy indicated for hives that are accompanied by intense itching and burning sensations. The skin may be dry, rough and red. Warmth, especially in bed, worsens the symptoms while cool air provides relief.
5. Natrum muriaticum (Nat-m.)
Recommended for hives triggered by emotional stress or grief. The hives may be accompanied by itching and a burning sensation. The person may also experience dryness of the skin and lips.
6. Dulcamara (Dulc.)
Suitable for hives that worsen in cold and damp weather. The skin may appear red, swollen and itchy. The hives may be triggered by exposure to cold or wet conditions.
7. Pulsatilla nigricans (Puls.)
Indicated for hives that are accompanied by itching and a burning sensation. The hives may be changeable in nature, appearing in different locations and shapes. Symptoms are often worse in warm rooms and improve in cool air.
Even though Kali Bromatum is not exactly for hives, get it anyway.
Also start taking Cell salts #3 CalcSulph and #9 NatMur daily.
ALSO, have your skin biopsied, some cancers manifests as skin conditions, especially when it is itchy. I once was examined by a dermatology professor (not in the US), lucky me, and he said there are only 3 skin conditions that can cause the type of mind boggling itchy rash that I had (they were not hives). One was gluten, second was petriformis something and I forgot was was the third one.
NAET, Homeopathy and Acupuncture are the most cost effective healing modalities today. Get well. I know what you are going through.
