BHT
I had an outbreak of shingles years ago. I remember doc telling me 'there's no cure' - and pain....lots of pain. (Maybe he gave me a Vit B injection???)
Anyway, I took BHT and they were gone! When I went to local health food store (now defunct, unfortunately) and asked for BHT, they asked me if I had shingles. AFTER my cure, doc wasn't surprised - seems he knew about BHT but didn't feel he could tell me about it. (This was probably 25 years ago so I don't remember dose, how long I took, etc. - only that it worked, and it worked quickly! )
My questions: What is the dosage for shingles?? Anny suggestions on how to take?? (If it matters, this would be for 60'ish year old woman, about 110 pounds; and a 70'ish year old woman, maybe 125 pounds.)
Can/should BHT also be applied topically? And of course....how, and combined with what?
And, when the shingles are gone, would it be prudent to continue on a 'maintenance' dose?
Any cautions - other than avoiding alcohol?
And...how about taking BHT as a preventive measure??
If anyone else has had experience using BHT for shingles, I'd appreciate it if you'd share your experience. There are some great posts about BHT - but most of them address use of BHT for other maladies.

Thanks for posting this valuable information Alaskanprincess. Myself and others have had success using BHT to treat hepatitis C and B. I can`t help but wonder if BHT will work for Ebola also, as a treatment and preventive measure. BHT seems to work for a very many lipid coated viruses. Ebola is a lipid coated virus.
The original publication by: Person, Snipes, Keith and Cupp is titled " Butylated Hydroxytoluene Inactivates Lipid-Containing Viruses " in the journal " Science " volume 188 pages 64-66 published in 1975.
My suggestion for people weighing 125 pounds or less is One 250mg to 350mg of BHT with water only on an empty stomach or less if any adverse reactions are experienced. It was great hearing from you....Oscar

Hi...I had INTERNAL SHINGLES about 2 weeks ago. I was put on BHT, L-Lysine (500mg), & vitamin C(500mg)....on day 1- put 1 of each pill in your hand & take them all at the same time. 2 hours later, do the same thing. Then take the 3 Together 3 more times (total of 4X on day one)
Day 2- take all 3 pills together 3 times throughout the day.
Day 3- Take all 3 pills together 2 X's ...
Day 4- Take all 3 pills together one time.
Start over with day 1 & repeat ...I had 30 BHT & took till gone & shingles were gone 😀 I hope this helps.
