I Have Laryngopharyngeal Reflux And Severe Sore Throat

LPR: My throat is so sore I could scream. No one on the lpr posts has mentioned a horrid sore throat. If it worsens I don't know what I will do. I cannot concentrate on anything except how sore my throat is. I do not have the other symptoms though. I took omeprazole and Protonix to no avail. I am currently taking 300mg zantac 2x daily.

Please Help!!

Lynnita: Is your condition particularly esophagitis due to hyper acidic digestive or do you have an infection?

Two main sore throat remedies is Cayenne Pepper and/or Zinc/Elderberry lozenges. Look on the "Remedies" section here on E.C. to find more info on your condition.
