Need Help for Infected Stye on Eyelid

Posted by Stephanie (NJ) on 08/28/2025

Dear Earth Clinic and Art,

I have EXTRME dry eye, because I have ZERO eye fluid, also zero mouth and nose fluid. I always have a little infection because of this. Now an infected stye on lower eyelid on inside is large, and outside of that area on lower eyeline lid, and below has a huge stye that is now a huge abcess. It is bright cherry red and also white on top as if it has pus inside. It is about 1/2" it is huge. I have whiplash and bulging neck discs from 2 weeks ago, and it is hard to move, and hard to akde care of my eyelid infection. I am using wet chamomile tea bags. It is very infected, and I dont know what to do. I do not have any opthamalic eye ointment. I might be able to order Teramycin which is opthamalic for pets, but I dont know if its ok for humans. But I cant order human eye ointment. Also they stopped selling natural eyedrops in the US a few years ago, so I also need a suggestion for eye drops for dry eyes. I have been boiling water every day and cooling it and washing my eyes to help relieve dryness, but it doesnt moisturize, and it doesnt cure the problem of having zero fluids. thank you

Hi Stephanie,

With all that is wrong with you, the barely functioning kidneys and liver, the whiplash, the eye infection with pus, dry eyes, nasal infection, bulging neck discs and severe neck pain and the fact that you can barely move to take care of yourself, I really think that this is much more than you can expect to remedy from advice on EC and you really need to be in the hospital where you can be properly diagnosed and cared for appropriately.

You don't want to risk your ability to see to an infection or risk your kidneys and liver in case their precarious situation worsens. My advice is to go to the emergency room for proper evaluation and treatment.

Dear Art,

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately it is the hundreds of doctor visits that put me in this health situation. I stopped going eventually, after I realized the doctors were wrong. They had me on steroids and said I have to live on them. The day I got the 1st prescription, he said I can pick up a box of twinkies on my way home, as long as I pick up the steroids. And that is the only thing I can do for the ulcerative colitis. It was 15 years later that a natural doctor told me I could take probiotics instead of steroids, and go gluten free. The regular doctors never told me I had lyme and co infections. They said I didn't. But their blood tests I did monthly for 15 years, were incorrect blood tests. The list goes on. They didnt care that I had neighbors pass away from lyme and co infections, and powassen. They didnt care that I worked daily, outside in the fields with animals, and got ticks everyday. Most of the doctors never looked at my face, and never spent more than 5 minutes in the exam room. Even tho I am text book case for lyme, etc, they should have treated me for lyme, back in 2000, when my symptoms became overwhelmingly obvious. But they only went by their blood tests. Even the 8 dentists assured me that the many mercury fillings in my teeth are totally safe. I am on my own. I really do appreciate your help more than you know, and everyone on earth clinic. But I am trying to live as long as I can. Hospital would kill me at this time. I cant do blood pressure test, because of the strap. I cant do antibiotics. I can't do IV needles, can't even get blood drawn, tho I can do an at home pin prick blood test still. And if I am around other people, I can't fight off the shedding from vax. If I was healthy, and could do those things, the 1st thing I would do is the mouth surgeries, to remove the mercury. Without saliva, my teeth will crack so it will be surgeries, not just amalgam removal. Removing the mercury is the best thing I could do to heal my organs and thyroid. But til then, I need to heal at home, to get healthy enough to do those surgeries. So I will keep using the chamomile tea bag on my eye for the infected stye. It works when I have tiny styes. Thank you again, and I agree with you, I just want to live longer, so I have to stay home and heal at home for now, thank you again

Hi Stephanie,

For the eye infection, you can try an eyewash from CVS drugstores that contains boric acid and may be worth a try :

https://www.cvs.com/shop/cvs-soothing-eye-wash-fl-4-oz-prodid-337097

Boric acid acts as an antimicrobial and the eyewash can be applied outside the eye also.

Melatonin gel may be useful for some pain management. Here is how to make it :

When the gel is applied sparingly on a regular basis to the spine, it can be beneficial for the spine in the long term.

For dry eyes you can consider this :
