Need Remedies to Help Stop Intrusive Thoughts
Does anyone have any suggestions for natural treatment of intrusive thoughts? I see anxiety in the list of ailments but I am curious for something more specific.

If by "intrusive thoughts" you mean, disturbing thoughts, emotional freedom technique (EFT) will effectively remove these from the forefront of your thinking process. We as humans mainly have active thoughts most of the time, even when sleeping, so I can only think that you are describing disturbing or undesirable thoughts possibly related to past experiences.
Just search on YouTube for "EFT" or "emotional freedom technique"
There are many videos on YouTube that illustrate how to use EFT on your own. EFT has many uses and studies to backup its effectiveness. It is considered one of the best remedies for PTSD and again with studies to prove it.
Here is a link to a meta analysis (a condensed report on the outcomes of multiple randomized placebo controlled human trials) done in April of 2025 analyzing EFT use for PTSD. A meta analysis is considered a higher quality of proof than individual studies :

Here is a relevant quote from the meta analysis :
' EFT effectively treated PTSD and reduced comorbid symptoms, including anxiety and depression. Moreover, its therapeutic effect could be applied in veteran populations and sustained for up to three months. '
It is worth mentioning that it is difficult to have a meta analysis come to such a strong conclusion that is better than any medications that doctors can offer to their PTSD patients!
EFT is a method of tapping with your fingers on known acupuncture/acupressure points to help eliminate emotional baggage and blockages associated with traumatic or bothersome experiences from your past.
I hope EFT is the answer to your issue. I find I use it more now than ever before.

Stop watching television. Your mind is receiving subliminal messaging from the shows and ALL THE COMMERCIALS. I had the same problem in 2010. When I evaluated where the thoughts, messages and voices were coming from, it clearly was the commercials telling me what to buy, what to eat, what to wear etc. And it went further.
So I shut off the cable and didn't hook up the digital box (this was when tv was going digital.)
I've been free of mind control and intrusive thoughts ever since that time.

Redirect your mind to positive thoughts. I repeat a song verse like Sing A Song from Earth Wind and Fire.
Do deep breathing. On the inhale think Breathe Deep. On the exhale think Relax.

How to Practice Mindfulness:

Body Scan: Pay attention to sensations throughout your body, starting with your toes and moving up to your head. Notice any tension, tightness, or discomfort.
Accept that your mind will wander; gently bring your attention back to the present moment.
Don't judge yourself or your thoughts.
