Is it Worth Treating Tooth Abscess if I Have a Crown?

Posted by Jacmoe (New York) on 11/20/2015

Hi everyone! I'm 52, a fitness trainer as well as avid fitness enthusiast. I'm certified in fitness nutrients as well. I've been suffering from "sinus" infections on and off for about a year and a half. Also, fatigue, some joint and muscle pain. My last sinus infection, last month, hit me hard. Severe pain in my head and eyes, fatigue, low grade fever and light dizziness. I missed work for 3 weeks. Cat scan, tons of ibuprofen, 20 days of antibiotics, 2 nasal sprays and finally started feeling better. Something has been off for a long while, couldn't put my finger on it.

I've had a capped tooth that's a little sensitive but no bother. I was feeling around the other day and felt an abscess way above the tooth, basically on my cheek when pressed.

Go to dentist and he said that roots broke apart and bacteria is festering into my sinus cavities and that is exactly what the issues stemmed from that I was having for the last year or so.

He suggested a removal of crown and of course extraction the tooth. My question is can I treat this when the crown is still on? Will it get into the crown? Will any remedy even be worth trying while the crown is still on? I have no pain and the abscess isn't even inflamed. I've been reading and considering doing the garlic and colloidal silver. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Jacmoe, in my opinion, that abscess can be treated with the crown on but, you will have to stay on top of the problem. Use colloidal silver to heal the abscess, don't wait - go buy some From the vitamin shoppe. Swish and swallow. Once the abcess is cleared, start oil pulling daily. Learn how to do it using the protocol on this site. This will keep your mouth healed.

Careful with that abscess - dont let it get worse. Attack the problem now. Flossing, brushing, oil pulling....your abscess will completely resolve - mine did years ago!
