Mystery Diagnosis - Itching and Tingling All Over Body, No Rashes

Itching and tingling all over body - no rashes.

I have pins and needles in various parts of my body just came on suddenly. Itching is a symptom, fingers, feet, back of neck, legs, even occasional itch on butt or under arm. Very weird. I can't categorized this. It's not really pain but very itchy and I'm concerned. I'm wondering if it is an allergy. My PCP is booked until March 20th. Waiting to get seen by specialist.

Any help out there? One leg has numbness on the surface of the skin but not in the leg. Walking is no problem. I just can't seem to categorize what this is.

Bill, Just a guess......Possibly magnesium deficiency. Do some checking on-line. Dr. Mark Sircus has an excellent article on magnesium deficiency. I was just researching this for my Mom & for a friend & your description sounds much like what was listed in that article. Here's the link: http://drsircus.com/magnesium/magnesium-deficiency-symptoms-diagnosis/ Take care & please update. Hope this is all it is........

Hi Bill,

My first thought is shingles. Before a shingles breakout appears, you usually get itching or slight pain along some nerve pathway in the body. In my case I had itching on one buttock first, then it traveled down near my crotch and a day later down my leg. I had a very minor case of shingles with only one shingles "pimple" on my buttock when it finally came out a few days after the initial pain and slight itchiness, but the symptoms lasted a very long time.

My other guess is fluoride poisoning or some kind of heavy metal poisoning. For example, if you've been on antibiotics lately like Cipro which contains a lot of fluoride, it might also trigger these symptoms. Or if you've eaten sushi and the fish has me. Also, symptoms might appear after a massage. Massage brings toxins up to the surface, in which case activated charcoal might be beneficial. Let us know what you find out. Good luck!

Hi to all. Here's my story. Tingling, itching, pain, burning, red spots appear then disappear just crazy what happen to me. Well... I have no pain no itching no spots no tingling no burning after stopping the intake of magnesium gluconate. Here's why.

All my labs were good at the doctor's office, great health. What I was doing was taking mag Gluconate twice a take orally prob 500mg, then spraying mag oil on my hands and feet, 4 times a week in the BT soaking with epsom salts which has mag in it as well. Basically I was overdosing on MG. It was actually causing red spots on my skin and terrible nerve pain to add to all else.

Be careful how you use these herbs and remedies I learned the hard way. Today after having been off MG for about 5 days now I am back to normal. Be careful who you listen to and be careful not to over do or over stat your situation.

That's my story I hope it helps someone out there.
