Leg Edema And T12 Connection

Posted by Robert Henry (Ten Mile, Tn.) on 04/20/2015

Directing this post to Bill and Timh, , , , , , , you little boys remember in Feb , '14 when I fell and crushed my T 12 Verterbre? My legs swelled such that I could not wear any of my shoes. I ended up doing PT and they got some better but still swollen, which comes and goes.

Reading the book by Andras Moritz in which she explains how your liver and gall affects every part of your body and why you should do the liver and gall cleanse. Well, walla, she show a diagram of your entire lymph system and low and behold it comes out around your T 12 Verterbre and down both legs. Now I understand, SJS. Since my left leg is now swollen more than the right I surmise that side is more crimped.

Last week I when for a Lymph massage to address this problem and she worked my ankles. I am almost certain that the problem is at my T 12.

I have a rebounder but have not used it since the fall. Do you birds have any suggestions for an ole worn out patoot?

Oh, and I just finished a 7 day limited apple juice fast and a liver flush last night. Only a few stones, but lots of chaff. Timh, I meant to do your methyl cough drop thing, but forgot.

ORH: Magnet Therapy seems very promising here. Get your hands on the strongest magnet you can find and go directly to the problem source, in your case, the Liver and the T-12.

A hot multimineral bath in combination w/ a strong cup of Lapicho aka Pau-de-Arco tea will cleanse the lymph as some massaging will also help during the bath. Dr Christopher's "Red Clover Combination" is also advised for lymph cleasing.

Hi ORH...Since you think your edema has been caused by the crushed T-12 I think it would benefit you to take the nutrients listed below. You should also consider and include other ongoing problems -- like candida -- that you have mentioned before as well.

If the T-12 area also bothers you then it may still have inflammation. Therefore there might also be a likelihood of ongoing infection at that site. You may also have fungus invading that T-12 site since you have also mentioned in the past that you have candida as well. Remember that candida can infect most regions in the body. To help get rid of the local candida in this area you can take a form of chitinase enzyme to kill the candida there -- like Candidase. Take this outside mealtimes.

Another remedy that would help would be to take lipase(fat digesting enzyme) and protease(protein digesting) enzymes outside mealtimes to clear any fat or protein debris from the blood and lymph area of the edema in the feet that may be causing congestion, constriction or pooling of lymph in that area. This should also help to reduce any inflammation.

I'm not sure whether your T-12 has fully healed so I would also perhaps try Ted's Hyaluronic + sea salt + water remedy. Pain in this area can be also caused by bone grating against bone due to lack of synovial fluid. HA helps to recreate the synovial fluid in between the joints which acts like soft suspension in a car -- thus stopping all the pain. See this link.

Lastly I would simply advise that you alkalize -- using Ted's baking soda + water remedy -- twice a day at least. As Ted says, there is a balance that must exist between bicarbonates and salt(NaCl) in your body for your lymph to properly do its job. If your body is too high in salt(or lacking bicarbs) then excessive water retention in the body can and will occur. See his detailed explanations here.
