Need Help for Seemingly Random Throat Issues

Silent Reflux - LPR or GERD?

I have had a number of issues with random symptoms around my throat area for over 7 months now. I feel this has not been correctly diagnosed and am now fairly certain it is silent reflux.

I live a fairly clean lifestyle, eat well, exercise daily, on the slim side and whilst I like chocolate, wine and coffee I do not have them every day nor OD on them.

My symptoms present as:

Belching

Lump in throat/Difficulty swallowing

Random sensations (they call it burning) in different parts of throat and going down esophagus

Sometimes frequent throat clearing (post nasal drip)

Food coming back up into throat (infrequent – only 4 or 5 times so far)

I'm trying ACV with raw honey a couple of times a day. I'd love to hear from anyone with similar symptoms and what you have done that has been most effective - to cure completely?

Many thanks

A friend of mine was diagnosed with H.Pylori and her Naturopath prescribed Manuka Honey. She buys 1 jar per month as she takes 1 tbsp around mealtimes. It works!

There is a gentleman studying Manuka in Australia, and he was quoted as saying that in over 20+ studying it, he "has yet to find a pathogen it can't beat". That's pretty lofty, but I can't remember his name. At any rate, I take the manuka lozenges for sore throats. I give them out to co-workers and friends when they can't talk in meetings and stuff, and it always works, within seconds! The manuka lozenges have amazed many, so it'd be worth a try too. I really do hope 1 tbsp around mealtimes works for you!

Glad,

This sounds like GERD, but a diagnosis by a doctor would be needed to confirm it.

I wrote about my experience here:

https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/art-solbrig-protocol-for-gerd.html

The treatment did seem to tighten the muscle group of the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) and I no longer have the acid and food coming into the esophagus as when the LES was weak. No more burping and no more hard stomach. If I bent down to pick something up off of the floor, the problem was very apparent. My problem turned out to be too little acid.

Sounds like a sinus infection. There are some awesome remedies on EC for that. I wonder if you had a mild case of Covid and didn't know it. I never had sinus issues prior.

I'd read the whole "Sinus Infection" section first. I keep to simple remedies and rely more on the method of use but some respond better to more complicated remedies and, as with all remedies, the "psychology" of health issues is far more important than people imagine.

GERD would be dehydration. Most people are chronically dehydrated. It takes a toll.
