Can Remedies Help Atrial Fib, Mold Issues and Medication Side Effects?

On March 28,2017, my sweetheart Jim went to the ER because he couldn't breath. They kept him over night and sent him home with having been diagnosed with Community Pneumonia, Sepsis, Pulmonary Edema, and Afib.

I have done some research, and we have moved from 118 feet above level to 4,984 ft above sea level. He had fallen, tripped on our stairs of our deck, and he had contracted Pneumonia which I recognized. Also almost a year prior we were hit in the crosswalk by a vehicle going 45mph. Jim only suffered a fractured fibula and tibia at the knee that were repairable. He is almost 58. Healthy, low blood pressure, able to physically out work like most younger 20 something's. He suffered small clots while in the hospital and upon release in 2016.

My concerns when I recently discovered serious mold issues in the spare bedroom he was sleeping and spending most of his time in. Also he has never spent much time at a higher elevation then 300 ft above sea level his entire life. They had him on Diltiazem DC 240 mg 2 X a day as well as Lasix, a diuretic. They attempted the heart zap but didn't do anything. He is exhausted, feet swelling, burning and numbness of his feet. I made him move out of the moldy bedroom. He hasn't been able to work, due to breathing problems. I made him call the cardiologist. They had him go to the ER. They checked all of his vitals, ran heart tests etc. They didn't check the blurred vision issue on his left eye, his numb swollen feet. He was sent home with an asthma inhaler. He has rarely used it but his feet have improved.

My fear is the Diltiazem cause liver failure, kidney failure, dementia, feet swelling, stroke, heart failure, while the Lasix causes Afib! Go figure. I have chelated non iron mineral supplements with magnesium. Numerous others. I am worried that his cardiologist is missing the big picture. Electrical zap failure could be related to his taking a drug that causes afib. Not seeing issues that are related to taking of these meds.

What can help him naturally beat this? So he can return to the out going self confident man prior to this horror?
Thanks for your help!
