I want to know if I can use acv, because I have candida and generally feel awful if I eat anything with vinegar in it. I am having lots of stomache/digestive upset, not pain but it feels like everything is just sitting in my lower abdomen and the sensation keeps me up night. I burp alot, have lots of gas, acid, reflux bad breath and lots of cramping.

I am sleeping terribly and am utterly exhausted. When I feel my stomach and pinch it it's not smooth but feels all broken up like little lumps. Also in my neck and shoulders it hurts terribly, under the skin it feels gravelly, the right side is worse and its in my my upper right arm.

I do have fibromyalgia and suspect I have lymes altho the test I did at my doctors-not a real good one came back negative. My memory is shot and I'm scared I may have alzhimers because I can't see to get things done, forget stuff and my motivation is just not there.

I also cry uncontrollably and go into horrible rages. I have neropathy in my feet and legs.

My blood test for glucose was 101 not fasting.

I need to detox, but am concerned about fasting becuse I have an eating disorder which is currently in remission and do not want to set up a binge cycle and I am also too thin about could stand to gain about 15 pounds.

Any ideas?

Hi Beloved - I also have suffered from candida for decades and it is a hard one to get on top of it. I don't know about taking vinegar for you with your reaction but would recommend whatever you do go slowly. I found virgin coconut oil helped balance my blood sugars and helped my cravings. I make a slice with equal Virgin Coconut Oil and maca (a super food found in health stores) mix add in some nuts and freeze and eat when I feel like something sweet. I also use a lot of the recommendations here on EC - iodine, magnesium and Epsom salt baths (they help to detox & I love the foot soaks). I have also started the mini beet detox - google it & also read the details here on EC. I am feeling considerably better since starting it but am going very very slowly as I don't want a major herx to put me off. It is meant to detox heavy metals, candida, parasites, etc. I have been working on detoxing most of these issues for years. I have been where you are now and it is possible to get rid of it. Read Bill's recent candida protocol - there are lots of great suggestions in it. It is hard to do everything but try remedies and see what works for you. Definitely get Virgin Coconut Oil but start with a small amount and then increase once okay. All the best and you can do it!

Oops - the slice/fudge I make is equal quantities of virgin coconut oil & a maca power blend that has maca and cacao powder in it and then I add some nuts and freeze. I find it yummy and it is helpful if I have a sugar craving. Sorry for the wrong ingredient description in my previous post.

The food combining was a great suggestion. I noticed you have many of the same symptoms I do when low in iodine... Thyroid. Do you have night sweats? The emotional swings and sluggish mind go hand in hand with that. I do well to balance blood sugar with food combining. Especially eating fruit by itself. Fruit in the morning. Wait 30 min. Before eating other types of food. I know w/ candida you probably want to stay away from fruit, but the key to the healing power it provides is to NOT combine it with other foods. Fruit is one of the most powerful detoxifiers (if that's a word) available when eaten properly. And I would also drink plenty of lemon water. Don't combine protein and starch. Those are the fundamentals of food combining.

Wow, ok, I am not a doctor. Lets go for simple, drink 32 oz of water, and u can take 8 hrs to do this, no hurry. Try that for 5 days and see what happens, make sure you drink bottled water or filtered water. Put one tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in the 32 oz of water. At night, take one teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and do this for 5 days. Write down things you start to notice each day that changes, like extra strength, more trips to the bathroom, eating less or eating more, aches and pains that seem to be less, more energy, or less energy, etc. PS, ask your doctor if you want too about the above inf , it cant hurt to ask him or her.
