My Cat Is Very Sick With Urinary Tract Infection

Hi! I have an 11 month old male cat named Tapsy and he just went to visit the vet last Saturday.

They said he has a blockage and I spent crazy amount of money on sedation and for the catheter. I'm now broke and have nothing else to do. Even though he has catheter on these past two days, he still can't urinate. Seriously, is it even working? The vet even prescribed tons of anibiotics and medicines but it seems that everything is not working. I felt relieved today since this afternoon, I noticed that his catheter is leaking and smelled like pee with a little amount of blood.

I got worried again and visited another vet (The one near our house). He said that we have to stop one of his medicines since it might stress out his kidneys. We bought Maalox too since he prescribed it. Now he is taking about 4 medicines (more if I could afford the 2 other meds, unfortunately, I really cannot. I'm so broke).

I was actually looking for a home remedy since I really feel that this vet thing is not working. I found this ACV and luckily, we have the same exact brand 'with the mother' downstairs. I decided that I got nothing to lose. I fed him 1/2 tsp ACV diluted in 1 1/2 tsp drinking water. At first he threw up blackish green vomit and I totally freaked out. Then I decided to give him again the same dose since he just threw up the first one that I gave him. Unfortunately, he still hasn't peed and still almost lifeless :(

Please anyone? I don't know what to do now. I can't sleep either.

Hello Hinna!

Vomiting up blackish green vomit = vomiting up bile. This can happen for many reasons, including liver and kidney disease. If this were my cat I would contact my vet and explain the situation to see if they have any further ideas for which to treat their patient. At the very minimal I would use Rescue Remedy - both for your kitty and for yourself.
