My Hair Has Changed From Normal To Coarse And Thin In Last Year

Posted by Saintsfan (Socal) on 12/19/2014

I am a male 46 yrs old, over the past year my hair has completely changed texture from normal to very coarse and almost non growing, by coarse I mean like Chihuahua/dog hair and has thinned out all over, it seems to grow to about 1/2 inch then fall out and start over..also my eyebrows will get thin and regrow.

My thyroid was tested by an endocrinologist as well as a blood panel, everything was normal. I eat fairly healthy because my daughter is a vegetarian, I do drink but mainly on the weekends although I am not an alcoholic.

A few things I am thinking, gluten intolerance, candida, some type of mineral imbalance athough I take a liquid vitamin with trace minerals. any other input would be appreciated..

Hello, I see you are from Southern California. A few of my friends in LA have complained about hair loss in the past two years, men and women, who never had any issues before. We have a suspicion it's from constant, low levels of radiation from Fukushima that hits the entire west coast of the USA. If you don't believe me, see the YouTube video on Surfer's Beach, San Francisco area, from last December... a guy walked around with a geiger counter that went off the charts when he was on the beach. I would supplement with lugol's iodine daily and see if this helps, even if your thyroid panel is normal. I do. It is said the radiation from the nuclear fallout will continue for another 2-3 decades, so not much you can about it.
