Could My Rhinitis Symptoms Be Mycoplasma?

Posted by Smith8577 (Alabama, Usa) on 08/25/2015

I have been having extreme pressure behind my eyes for 2 weeks, with bad headaches, swollen turbinates inside my nose causing the pressure I am sure, tear ducts are swollen. I am extremely fatigued. Swelling under my eyes. Extremely dry inside nose, gritty eyes.

I have tried neti pot, otc, steroids, antibiotics to little relief. No mucus, no watery eyes so this is confusing me. I tested positive for mycoplasma, could this be causing these horrible symptoms? Please anyone know what this could be?

Hello Smith 8577,

Re your sinus problem...

You ask if the cause could be Mycoplasma. Sure.

Sounds like so many sinus infections I have had. Mycoplasma is a bacteria and you said someone had diagnosed you as having Mycoplasma...from a culture I'm presuming. But I use colloidal silver in an irrigation .... I squirt the CS into sinus cavity to kill virus/bacteria and fungus. It always stings a lot the first application but thereafter the stinging is very little. Most of my infections are gone after a few applications. I also apply into the ears.

(A mycoplasma is a bacteria without a cell wall outside its cell membrane.)
