Seeking Natural Remedies for Chronic Itchy Skin

For the past year, I have had itchy skin. The only way I can get it to stop is to soak the area in bleach diluted with water. I have tried otc creams to no avail; plus prescription drug (hydroxizine) and prescription creams. They helped for a while and then they quit working. I have also taken double doses of Benadryl and Zyrtec to no avail. Please help!!!
I have a brother and one of my granddaughters is having the same problem.
