Nebulizing Borax for Fungal Infection in Lungs
Hello, I have been dealing with what I believe to be a fungal lung infection for the past 2 years or so. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with, or comments/thoughts about the possible use of very diluted borax in bottled water in nebulizer to treat fungus in the lungs? What dilution would be safe but also effective? I've read that workers who mined Borax had no lung issues after extensive exposure, so I'm thinking this would be safe but still unsure. Thank you!

Hi Tamara,
I would say there is significant risk involved with nebulizing borax water because it has a pH level around 9.2 to 9.5 compared to the interior of the lung surface which has a pH in the 6.9 to 7.1 in the lower airways and 5.6 to 6.7 in the upper airways and nasal passages. This more acidic pH is needed to effectively kill bacteria that is breathed in.
The nebulizing of borax water can potentially raise this pH level to a point where it is not able to effectively kill inhaled bacteria.
