Need Help Figuring Out Turmeric Dosage for Dog

Help I'm sure I've got the math wrong - working out my dogs turmeric dosage. Wt 42 kg rounding down 90lb therefore at 1/4 tsp per 10lb that's 22.5 tsp a day!!!!

Dear Karen,

For a 90 pound person, I would give about 1/2 teaspoon three times a day. Unless you are needing a very aggressive treatment, this may be a good amount for your dog. It is generally best to start with less and increase if it seems needed.

Om may have a better sense of this though as she is very experienced with using turmeric, especially with animals.

You said 1/4 tsp per 10 lbs, so that is 1 tsp for every 40lbs (4 quarters in a tsp) which for a 90 lb dog is a total is 2 1/4 tsp. a day. Hope this helped.
