Need Remedies for Friend With Postherpetic Neuralgia on Scalp

Any remedy for Postherpetic Neuralgia? My friend who is 70 recently had shingles on his head, the shingles have gone but he is in severe pain. The pain is so bad even to touch his hair hurts him.

He has tried prescribed pain killers and over the counter ones but he is not getting any relief and his life has completely been ruined with this pain. He was always on the go and good fun, however he hardly goes out now as the wind in his hair pains him.

I have read Emuaid Max might be good for this, has anybody tried it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as he is in an awful pain.

Thank you in advance for any help.

The best thing I know of to treat symptoms of shingles is dmso applied topically. I have a friend who has shingles on his legs. Dmso brings relief. Now be sure to water the dmso down 50/50 before applying to clean chemical free skin. If you apply dmso at full strength it will dehydrate the skin causing a very stinging burn for a few hours. Don't let dmso get near your eyes as it will sting too. It wont cause any damage but you will definitely know it is in there.

About dmso, it has more than 700 medical uses. Dmso is the most highly studied chemical in existence having more than 40 thousand studies done on it. Only water has found more uses than dmso. It penetrates the skin in seconds carrying with it anything that might be on the skin too such as any chemicals you might have recently handled. It is antiinflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, anticancer, and it reduces pain from a wide variety of troubles. Dmso can take the pain away from cancerous tumors in just a few minutes giving relief that seems miraculous if you are hurting. Dmso has an affinity for cancer cells, it goes right to them and it changes their metabolism back to normal cellular behavior. I saved my life from cancer with dmso years ago. Available at most animal feed stores, it is a product worth studying.
