Never Healing Infection On Buttocks

Posted by Marcin (Toronto, Canada) on 12/31/2014

It has been five or six years since I got ulcers/acne on my buttocks. They are big and numerous, and it hurts very much when I am sitting on a chair. After some days or weeks, they grow big enough to squeeze them out (which is very painful), and a lot of blood and pus comes out. After that, I am free of pain, but they always grow back after a few weeks, usually in the same place where the previous ones had been. Whenever I do a workout on a bicycle, or my buttocks sweat when I am sitting with warm clothes on, the ulcers/acne tend to be triggered again. It is a very debilitating condition considering that in the West we spend a considerable amount of time seated on chairs, be it in school or workplace.

Do you have similar experiences, or some advice?

Dear Marcin,

What a miserable condition you have been dealing with for several years! Have you ever seen a doctor and had a diagnosis of the problem? Have you tried anything for it yet?

I am quite optimistic that there is a solution. The first things you try may or may not be the solution, but I would encourage you to try one thing for a while and if it does not help, try another.

My first thought for you would be to try the following:

Borage Oil - 1, 000mg twice a day. It helps with skin problems and inflammation.

Turmeric - 1 teaspoon, 3 times a day. You can add it to milk. Or you can take 4 capsules 3 times a day. Always take it with a glass of water. Supposedly turmeric can be constipating, thus the water recommendation. Plenty of water daily is important to flush out your system. And if you are having trouble with constipation anyway, that can cause a host of problems and perhaps be related to your current problem.

I would also try 2 teaspoons of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of water once a day. If that suits, perhaps take it twice a day.

Keep us posted on how you are doing!
