Nothing is Working for Internal Body Heat at Night

Posted by Paula (Canada) on 07/17/2017

Hi everyone. I have been having internal body heat every night for almost 4 years. I am only 40 years old and I have been trying all kinds of natural remedies and nothing is working. I have gone to my doctor and she says that it's not perimenopause or menopause and that I am too young for that. She hasn't been helpful in trying to find what is causing the heat that goes the whole night. It feels like I have fever the whole night and it's very uncomfortable, I get barely any sleep and I am bone tired during the day. If someone can help me I would appreciate it, I am willing to try anything. I am currently takin borage oil 1200 mg twice a day, vitamin e 1000iu a day, black cohosh root 540 mg a day, organic blackstrap molasses 1 tbs a day, 1 tsp magnesium citrate once a day and natural dessicated thyroid medication. I have hypothyroidism and hashimotos. Thanks to everyone that replies.

I can take a stab at it. Our world is saturated in estrogen. Progesterone balances it out BUT there are some things to try first. You may have a ton of stress and cortisol can create hormone imbalances. You are not too young to be in perimenopause. Read book by John Lee MD and get lots of insights on menopause . Low hydration could cause overheating. I read if you use Lugohls Iodine drops in vagina it helps ovaries reset hormone balance. I use three drops a day. Sunbathing helps balance hormones, bikini 15 minutes each side and underarmpits, couple days a week if you can. Kale in morning meal. Milk thistle daily for liver health . Soy lecithin granules to get bad fats out of body tissues . L Taurine to remove MSG out of tissues and organs. Kefir for enzymes in gut, 1 Tbsp to start, taste good with blueberries. Apple cider vinegar with mother in 12 oz water with a bit of honey to start each day.Well, try one or more and see if you get the hots under control. Otherwise get gel packs for freezer and put behind neck when it gets too hot.

Great advice from Charity which will go a long way toward resolve.

One critical omission in your nutrition list, is Selenium. Remember the Thyroid needs Se and will also bind with Vit-E (of which take a broad spectrum) and both these will bond with Ubiquinol/CoQ10 which takes this combo from powerful antioxidant to energy producer and fat burner.

The accumulation of fat in human tissues & cells with many illnesses that fallow, is an increasing epidemic according to Dr Neil Barnard. He suggest elimination of meat & dairy, but I'm no fan of elimination diets and seek resolution one's instead. In this case supplementation of many nutrients is needed and if no resolve from all the suggestions here, then try the powerful detox & immune booster combo, as well as fat burner, of Methionine, B-12/Folic Acid, and DMG.

This is just my opinion but I would first eliminate the magnesium citrate and take magnesium oxide. Magnesium citrate caused me frightening heart irregularities and it took awhile for my heart to calm down after I stopped taking it.

Magnesium is supposed to regulate body temperature but I don't know what other binders, fillers or capsules you may be taking. Capsules alone can raise your body temperature. They can contain 11-14 mg. of MSG. Hidden sources of MSG are nerve stimulants. I cannot take capsules but have to empty contents in a mouthful of water or mix contents in unsweetened applesauce.

If ginger is in anything you take, that can raise your body temperature too. I hope this information can help you and I wish you luck!
