Your body is too acidic. You got to get it alkalined. There are many green juice drinks recipes online to pick form. Pick a recipe with kale, cucumber and apples in it.

Next, buy a bottle of Colloidal Silver 10ppm. Any brand will work. Drink 1 oz in 3 oz clean water. This will kill any pathogen hiding in your urinary tract system. E. coil bacteria is the usual suspect. Drink this 3x/daily for 5 to 10 days.

As someone who's had numerous recurring UTIs (and is a kidney transplant patient), you MUST go to a doctor and get a urinalysis done. A urinalysis will pin-point exactly what "bug" you have. It could be e-Coli (the most common), or it could be klebsiella pneumoniae. If UTIs are not cured, you run the risk of kidney infection.

Most likely you'll have to go on antibiotics, at least initially, since you say your urine color changes from yellow to green. Have you seen blood in your urine? Is it ever red?? Again, this is why you MUST go to a doctor to get the infection cured. Then you can follow a preventative protocol thereafter.

Back in 2019, I had the klebsiella pneumoniae bug which would just not go away, even with antibiotics. I'd go on 1 prescription for 10 days, then 4 days later I'd have another UTI. This kept on for an entire year! In my opinion, the klebsiella pneumoniae was in my digestive tract and would, apparently, find its way to my urinary tract.

Since none of the antibiotics worked, I did my own research, including here on EC, and discovered oregano oil. At the time, I used the liquid: 4 drops in 8 oz water 3-4 times per day for ONLY 2 weeks (do NOT use oregano oil longer than 2 weeks at a time). The taste is extremely bitter/stringent, so drink it down fast, then follow with lots of water. (You can also get the capsules - I'd suggest purchasing them at WF or other reputable distributor). After @1 month, I requested a new urinalysis, and the klebsiella pneumoniae was GONE! I haven't had this particular bug since. I do, however, occasionally get the e-Coli bug.

To reduce the frequency of UTIs, you MUST adopt a clean-eating regimen (I've done this and it works). Lots of info out there (e.g., research Whole30), including here on EC. Eliminate the following: processed/packaged "food", anything with sugar, junk food/pastries, anything with dairy (cow) like ice cream, "white" foods (breads, pastas and rice), etc. Replace the "junk" with WHOLE, mostly organic, FRESH veggies (all colors of the rainbow), fruits, good-quality meats & wild-caught fish. Something else that tends to start a UTI in me is black tea. So, listen to your body, and help it. Doing all this will boost your immune system which will then help fight off infections, including UTIs.

All the best to you! :-)

Why only use for 2 weeks? I use it all the time??!

I remember reading somewhere (can't remember where) that 2 weeks at a time was recommended. HOWEVER, I just googled "how long is it safe to take oregano oil", and found this link:

https://www.healthline.com/health/oregano-oil-for-cold#methods which says, "...make sure you take at least a weeklong break for every 3 weeks of use."

At the first sign of discomfort take D-Mannose tablets in addition to plenty of water. These will curb the duration of the infection and give quick relief. I have also drunk a high concentration of lemon water which works.

I used to take doctor prescribed antibiotics for reoccurring bladder infections. What finally stopped it was grapefruit seed extract. Now, at the first sign of an oncoming infection, I take GSE and the UTI never happens.

I have been a follower of Dr Mercola for several years. He recommends DMannose for bladder infections. Please read his article at articles.mercola.com. You will need to search his articles for your issue.

Medical professionals will post that he is a quack but he definitely is not.

I agree with D-mannose. It doesn't resolve every UTI but can help prevent them and treat very early ones caused by e coli. I have also found that meticulous peri-anal cleansing with gentle soap and a rinse with cool water with dissolved cap of D-mannose in the water is also helpful. Early intervention is best, otherwise antibiotics are often needed. Urologists here do recommend D mannose 500-1000mg in AM and PM for prevention.

First of all, stop taking antibiotics. They make things worse. Buy some D-Mannose. They are produced especially for UTI. Also take some Bi Carbonate of Soda to bring your pH up as your body is obviously far acidic to repair itself.

When I had bad UTI, I mixed 1 teaspoon of Bi Carbonate of Soda with a small glass of water, mixed it well, repeated this about 4 times on a daily basis and it fixed itself. After that I found out about D-Mannose and I keep that on hand. Read a book by Dr Sircus regarding how good Bi Carbonate of Soda is good for so many things, you will find it online.

When you are done urinating, start to get up, leaning forward, halfway up and pee again. This position will get out the the last bit of urine, witch would stagnate and grow bacteria. This was recommended to my daughter by a chiropactor friend. Neither of us have had a bladder infection in over 10 years doing this.

I know we're not supposed to mention brand names so I'll just suggest a probiotic specifically targeted at the female vaginal and urinary tract health. It is called Femdophilus and is the only one like it that I know about. It comes in the formula that has to be refrigerated and also a shelf stable one. You want lots of the good bacteria so the bad doesn't have a chance to become established. It has done wonders for me.

Try 1 teaspoon of Bragg's Apple cider vinegar (or any organic, raw, unfiltered Apple cider vinegar) in a glass of filtered or spring water (not tap water) 3 times a day. Shake the bottle before pouring it out on the teaspoon so that the pulp which is actually called, "The Mother" is fully mixed. If you have a sensitive stomach then drink after a meal, if not then before a meal, it works either way!

Also, consume 1 teaspoon of organic, cold pressed Coconut Oil 3 times a day. Those 2 have always helped me, both are natural antibiotics. If you don't want to take both then go with the Apple Cider Vinegar because out of the two I think that is the one that helps the most!

Cut out all processed sugar (bacteria feed on sugar) and dairy products for at least two weeks to see if there is improvement. You do need to alkalize your system which can be easily done by taking a couple of tsps of organic apple cider vinegar diluted in a glass of water daily. Also, what helped me was to take salt baths, the salt kills the bacteria in and around the urethral opening.

I would get 1-2 utis per year and felt compelled to take antibiotics due to extreme discomfort. Since I started taking one 650mg powdered capsule of cranberry per day all infections have ceased. I am now going on three years uti-free!

I never had UTIs until after menopause. Then I started to get them frequently after sex! After awhile I figured two things....I pee soon after sex and I also take mannose... Mine is a powdered Mannose that I stir in water. Tastes a little sweet, but not bad...I’ve not had a UTI in about 2 yrs since doing these 2 things....

My grandmother was a native American herbalist and her first remedy for bladder infections was pure, unsweetened cranberry juice, not the cranberry cocktail which comes with other stuff and sweeteners. You must also alkalize your body. Try 1 tsp of baking soda in a glass of warm water upon rising, mid morning, mid afternoon and before bed. As the condition improves reduce intake to 1/2 tsp and the number of times you take it. Eliminate all sugar, cut back on fruits and grain products. Drink 8 oz. daily of aloe vera juice.

For UTI infections, try a grapefruit seed extract or grind 8 grapefruit seeds and take every 8 hours. I got this from a university med school research paper. The extract might work better as it`s stronger and gets absorbed better. Add both sodium bicarbonate & potassium bicarbonate to alkaline your system, and If possible magnesium bicarbonate as well. Add real cranberry juice to flush out the kidneys.

For the last 3 years, I've had UTIs on and off..Had a kidney stone and blood in my urine..Got very sick (sepsis)..Got through all that after having a stent put in but still had UTIs non stop..Nothing worked..I tried everything from antibiotics, D manose etc...Then I read about chanca piedra...Ordered the capsules from eBay and took one a day and after 3 days, it was completely gone..As soon as I start to feel it coming on, I take the capsules straight away for a week and it stops it in it's tracks..Had a UTI about 2 weeks ago and got careless but once I took the chanca piedra, it stopped within days..Another thing I added is black seed oil..One teaspoon washed down with cold water to mask the taste..It rids your body of bacteria and E coli...You can buy chanca piedra tea but the capsules are easy to take..It works every single time and also for kidney and gall stones, including relieving the inflammation with gout...Both are miracle cures..All the best.

This is what I do for bladder infections and so far it has always worked. I drink about 3 cups of hibiscus tea daily for 5 days and 2oz. colloidal silver (10ppm) 4 times daily for 5 days. Along with this I take 20 drops of grapefruit seed extract in a small amount of juice twice daily(not to be confused with grapeseed extract). Also take 500 mg. of d-mannose with water every 2-3 hours for 5 days. Good luck.

Hi there, I've found that hibiscus tea (high in vit c) and real hot lemonade in the morning helped me the most. I read somewhere that eating the whole lemon is good for bacterial infection so after I make my lemonade and the peals of the lemon are soft from being in the hot water, I eat them. I buy organic when possible but I think conventional will work too.

I also visualize healing light going into my bladder and kidneys. This protocol healed my last and worst uti five years ago.

There are various effective homeopathy remedies for UTI infections. Apis Mllifera is one you might try - 30 strength. It's from the honey bee and works well for insect stings and other types of burning pain. You may also be short of magnesium which is alkaline and needed for over 300 bodily functions. Try Googling Dr Homeo for other UTI remedies. They vary depending on your symptoms. Good luck.

I cannot tell you how much D-Mannose has helped me and my pets. Years ago my male cat kept getting UTI's and had many a round of antibiotics. After doing research on preventing UTI's I heard about D-Mannose and skeptically tried putting just a hint of the powder in his wet canned food. Not only did he eat it with no problem but has never had another UTI in 12 years!!!! I started adding the D-Mannose powder that I buy on the internet to my own food after seeing the result of his incredible success and have been free of any UTI's.

A container of D-Mannose costs about 12 bucks and will last for months since it takes so little. It probably won't get rid of a UTI but it surely will prevent them in animals and humans. I am thrilled and love to share this solution with people.

I was getting recurrent infections and taking antibiotics all the time gave me SIBO. I have managed to stop it all now but became aware that oxalate dumping was occurring to trigger the infections. Maybe check to make sure you're not getting too many oxalates at once and then stopping. I also found Aloe Vera was incredible for cleansing the urethra and bladder. I think all Aloe helps but the best is sourced from Aloe Aborescens which is very prickly. I make my own from this plant.

I see many folks have mentioned D-Mannose...excellent for controlling bladder infections. There is a combination capsule of D-Mannose and Cran-Actin capsule which should take care of the infection. It will not allow the bacteria to adhere to the bladder. Follow instructions on the bottle...it works!

You may have Interstitial Cystitis which was triggered from the initial infection.

My daughter has this and the pain can be excruciating. We tried all the remedies we could find (Dmannose, cranberry, probiotics, baking soda, etc) plus dietary changes (no gluten, dairy, tea/coffee, sugar, fruit, citrus, tomatoes, etc). Nothing helped doing this strictly for 6 weeks. Then I noticed pain could ramp up immediately after eating - way before food was digested and could reach the bladder. It seemed like an allergic reaction to everything. We decided to try antihistamines and it worked! She‘s been pain free for 3 weeks now. Interesting that her weekly migraines have disappeared too. So it seems she has a histamine problem giving UTI symptoms.

Change diet to 20 Acidic/80 Alkaline. I eat fresh cranberries. I keep bags of cranberries in my freezer. Do not drink Cranberry juice with sugar. Keep away from sugar, grains and yeast products. I take Goldenseal and 5 drops of Oregano oil in water during the bladder infection. I also Alkaline my body with Lemon juice and Baking Soda during the infection. Plus lots of probiotics.

  • Drink lots of water to stay hydrated.
  • Consider taking cranberry tablets or drinking cranberry juice.
  • Consider switching from baths to showers so you don't give the bacteria access to enter the body.

Drinking an infusion of lemon juice and baking soda assists in the cure of UTI. This home remedy is a fabulous way of using baking soda for UT

How to use?

  • Slice a lemon in half and squeeze the juice out of it
  • Add the freshly extracted lemon juice to a glass of warm water with slight stirring
  • Add a tablespoon of baking soda to the solution of warm water and lemon juice.
  • Drink the decoction on an empty stomach every morning
  • Drink the mixture on a daily basis for the cure of UTI

After menopause I seem to get UTIs regularly whereas before I only had 2 in my life. Usually D-Mannose and Cranberry Tablets clear it up in days. This time it went on for a month and I too got yellow and green urinary discharge. I don't know why, but I thought to try Boric Acid capsules that I had used before for bacterial vaginosis. They are 600 mg capsules inserted vaginally at bedtime. I found these on Amazon. Can't leave the brand name but Starts with an "S"and has Flora in the name. Just search boric acid capsules. Anyway, used them for 7 nights and immediately cleared up. Now, I just take cranberry capsules daily for maintenance.

If you are deficient in vitamin B6 and magnesium, an acid called xanthurenic acid is produced which will cause inflammation of the bladder and as a consequence chronic infections. In fact, the test for B6 deficiency is xanthurenic acid in the urine.

Try taking B6 100/mg per day and about 133 mg/day Mg. If you must take this chronically, it's better to take a B100 tablet that is balanced in B vitamins and perhaps a calcium/magnesium tablet in a 2 to 1 ration Ca to Mg.

My go to antibiotic is 65% Calcium Hypochlorite sold as swimming pool shock. You need about a size one capsule and you must drink at least 8 ounce of water with it, assuming of course that you are a full grown adult person. Otherwise you must reduce it proportionately to the weight of the individual.

I hope this information is helpful to you.
