Mystery Diagnosis: Pain and Burning Sensations All Over Body - Please Help

Posted by Sherry (TENNESSEE) on 09/27/2021

I'm coming here because I'm at my wit's end on what to do. It started a little over 4 weeks ago. My symptoms begin as what I think is a hiatal hernia, stomach upset, I couldn't catch my breath a lot, low grade fever, fatigue, sinus stopped up etc. Since then I have missed over a week of work, I am having lots of anxiety, panic attacks, feeling brain fog or burning, low blood pressure, low blood sugar (due to lack of appetite) heart palpitations, and burning in my stomach, arms, legs, back etc.

Keep in mind I have Candida as well and I was around someone 4 weeks ago that ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. She said she didn't test positive for Covid, so I'm not sure if one thing has to do with the other.

Since then I've been to the doctor once and the emergency room once and all they found was a cyst. They said my blood work check out okay. I am an all naturalist, so I have been taking lots of supplements, but right now I can't seem to get the burning pain that is all over my body to go away. I have tried the alkaline protocols and ACV, but they're not proving effective and also when I lay down at night, I automatically wake up with anxiety, so I'm scared to go to sleep, so I've been having insomnia.

Any and all help and suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!

Panic attacks and auto immune issues. Hmmm could be a dehydration mineral imbalance or shingles. Now shingles is from chickenpox buried in tissue triggered by low lysine from an imbalance from eating foods high in arginine.

The fear thing you have to tackle or it feeds dehydration as you produce cortisol to run from the bear. Cortisol feeds candida and drains the body . Low progesterone is problematic and is a very calming hormone to balance estrogen. Estrogen is in plastics, animal products, fertilizers, chemicals, food additives. You could need some l-taurine to lower MSG, which could cause a lot of misery. Ashwagandha or GABA or melatonin, B vitamins, laughter, solitaire, a puzzle. Magnesium or epsom salt baths with candles and lots of water to drink or a little wine. What if, is a very bad thought to have. Sometimes we plan to prevent something and it feeds all our fears and triggers cortisol. As far as lung, salt thins mucus, a balance of mineral salts with water. Astragalus root for lung. Vicks has turpentine in it and works wonders. Heat dries out the air and humidifiers help the lungs . An extra pillow can make sleep easier.

Cysts may be a mineral imbalance. Calcium is tricky. It requires many things to process it in the body properly. D-3, K-2, silica, other minerals in balance including boron, chanca piedra breaks up stones and eats the outer layer off of the virus so your body can get a good stab at them. You have an inner voice, have you asked yourself what you need and listened. Ginger is lovely and lemon.

The hernia could be low msm and vitamin C or gut health. Cortisol lowers bile. Bile is needed for mineral absorption. Your body stops digesting food when it is running from the bear. a little wine could help with stress and digestion. Very little. Some castor oil on the liver or above that hernia would help with a heat source to drive it in. Beets also help the gallbladder and a stone could be making you feel this. A stone is not that hard to get rid of with stonebreaker, aka chanca piedra. Soy lecithin granules would also aid your liver and detox bad fats out of organs. Very calming too.

Oscillococcinum is expensive but it works on any symptom on the box. coconut oil is anti viral, anti microbial, anti fungal, and anti bacterial. I drink coconut water most days.

Personally, candida is a battle I never won. Cortisol from childhood trauma and mineral imbalance and digestion issues triggered by emotional triggers shot a hole in my boat and I have been bailing water for decades. I did overcome split personality and that helped a lot . Now I'm studying the kingdom . Not sure what you believe but Andrew Wommack is a good teacher on how to get healing and understand love. Love is so tricky. It heals all. Blessings, charity

Hello Sherry,

Here are the symptoms you said that you have:

1. Burning pain sensations body wide

2. Stomach upset

3. Inability to catch your breath

4. Low grade fever

5. Fatigue

6. Nasal Congestion

7. Anxiety

8. Panic attacks

9. Brain fog

10. Low blood pressure

11. Loss of appetite

12. Heart palpitations

13. Insomnia

14. Difficulty breathing

15. Hiatal hernia

16. Candida

Every single one of your symptoms except number 16 are commonly seen in Fibromyalgia. Candida, while not a symptom of Fibromyalgia, can exacerbate Fibromyalgia and all of its symptoms. If you test negative for Covid-19, and you should be tested for that right away, then it is time to have another conversation with your doctor specifically about Fibromyalgia and all of your symptoms! You said the doctor found nothing except a cyst, but it is well known that Fibromyalgia is difficult to diagnose because there is no specific test to diagnose it. Take this written list of symptoms back to the doctor and remind him that everyone of these symptoms are commonly seen in Fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia symptoms can be seen in other conditions such as chronic fatigue and Lyme's disease and this further adds to the difficulty of getting a diagnosis. Your 15 symptoms are fairly specific and having them written down for the doctor should be helpful for him to make a diagnosis. You didn't say, but does the pain move around, such as can your arm hurt one day and the next your leg hurts. If the pain moves around from place to place, you should also let the doctor know this as it may help him/her to make a diagnosis.

In the meantime, I think it might be worth you considering a quality highly absorbable form of magnesium such as Magnesium Glycinate at the maximum label dose if you are not already doing so. Melatonin is also worth your consideration if you tolerate it. Good luck and please keep us updated on your progress!

@Art,

Thank you so much for your response! Yes I've already been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, several years ago. This is something different, nothing like I've ever experienced. Almost as if I've been exposed to a chemical of some sort, maybe through my drinking water or something. The worst of it happens at night, everytime shut my eyes, I'm having anxiety then I have a full fledged anxiety attack. I just wished I could figure it out. Low from insomnia.

This could be from heavy metals. Might want to get a heavy metal test done, just in case, as heavy metal overload can cause these symptoms.

SJ,

So what you are seeing is likely an exacerbation of disease activity that you have not previously seen. Every symptom you have mentioned is a fibromyalgia symptom and this may be an exacerbation of symptoms related to an increased level of inflammation, stress or daily pressure or a combination of these. None of the symptoms you mentioned deviates from known fibromyalgia symptoms, so now you know exactly what to aim your treatment at. I already mentioned two things for you to consider and now that you are confirming that you are dealing with fibromyalgia, I will mention one more thing for you to consider and that is thiamine also known as vitamin B1. So now you have a three prong approach that you can discuss with your doctor.

If needed, I can link you to studies that show that these 3 things are likely to be beneficial in dealing with fibromyalgia.

Magnesium glycinate has very good bioavailabilty, is antiinflammatory and can have muscle relaxing effects along with the ability to lower the inflammatory mediator, IL-8. Topical magnesium chloride or mag oil has shown the ability to relax muscles and relieve pain in muscles and joints and has shown effectiveness in fibromyalgia.

In fibromyalgia, the inflammatory mediator IL-17 is activated and elevated and because of its relatively high position in the inflammatory cascade can activate other inflammatory cytokines and inflammatory pathways. In healthy individuals their IL-17 levels are usually undetectable. Thiamine is a potent inhibitor of Th-17 cells which produce IL-17 among other cytokines. A fairly recent study has shown that 200 mg/day of thiamine reduced IL-17 by four fold in just 3 weeks. By potently inhibiting IL-17, you will likely reduce some of the inflammatory mediators below it such as IL-1b, IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-alpha. Reduced inflammation is useful in dealing with Fibromyalgia. Thiamine at high dose has also shown in studies to be helpful in reducing fatigue, another common issue seen in fibromyalgia.

Melatonin has shown in studies to be a highly potent inhibitor of Oxidative Stress (OS) and inflammation. While OS has been implicated in studies as a contributing factor to fibromyalgia, results are mixed, but excess inflammation is well established for increasing oxidative stress and inflammation is definitely an issue with fibromyalgia so fighting both, as melatonin does is good. Melatonin has also shown to reduce pain in fibromyalgia which is also useful. Not everyone can tolerate melatonin, but if you can, melatonin is likely to be useful for your situation and in some people can help with insomnia.

These three supplements you can discuss with your doctor and your doctor can also make sure that they are compatible with any meds you may be taking.

There are quite a few supplements that have shown varying degrees of benefit in people with fibromyalgia, but these three should be a good starting point.

Art,

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, I believe I'm having fibromyalgia symptoms, brought on by some stressor. I am a naturalist though so I don't go to the doctor for my fibro, I've been diagnosed for 10 years with it and was on meds that didn't seem to help and so I went off of them and decide to go the all natural route. In doing this I found the root cause of my fibro. It was Candida. I also have stomach issues such as: diverticulitis, IBS, leaky gut. I also have Chronic fatigue, chronic vertigo, multiple chemical sensitives, food intolerances and of course pain. I've been able to control all of this through my food and supplements and cleanse, but just recently I was exposed to a chemical I believe and it brought a lot of this back, which you know would be a stressor. I believe it was in a water source, most people do okay with elimination but I don't, I'm just very highly sensitive to most things. I've never heard of taking melatonin for fibro, but I have of the other and yes they would be helpful, but I have to get to the root cause of the inflammation reoccurring again. I've also got some kind of thumping pain, like a heartbeat in my feet, they usually stay cold but now they are warm and it's also in other parts of my body as well, my guess would be a nerve, but not sure, I just wish this was all better. I very much appreciate your help, sometimes you just need other people's opinion, it helps! God bless you!

SJ,

You said, ' I am a naturalist '. It doesn't get much more natural than melatonin as it and its receptors are produced throughout the body and melatonin is produced in every mitochondrion of the body! Here is a brief review that summarizes that melatonin is useful for Fibromyalgia, but science has not yet figured out why :

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31783341/

Science does not understand why melatonin helps Fibromyalgia, but you only have to look at other quality studies where melatonin has been used for other health issues successfully to get some very good clues as to why it would help. That is why I have written so extensively about melatonin on EC for Stroke treatment and prevention, Cardiovascular Disease treatment and prevention, Covid-19 treatment and prevention, Osteoporosis/Osteopenia treatment and prevention, Parkinson's disease, AD/memory and more.

Once you start to understand what melatonin does in the body, you start to appreciate that it should be helpful for many health issues including cancer. If there were such a thing as a "smart molecule", melatonin would be it!

The downside is that melatonin declines sharply from puberty right into old age. As melatonin levels decline, age related diseases increase with age 50 being a rather critical juncture where melatonin levels have returned to the level of a newborn which is very low. At age 50, the frequency of age related diseases increase noticeably. You may find this post interesting that shows this relationship between melatonin age related decline and age related disease increase:

https://www.earthclinic.com/supplements/melatonin2.html#mc

Although Fibromyalgia can affect most ages, it becomes more prevalent in middle age, similarly to age related diseases, when melatonin is deeply declining.

Not sure of the best Melatonin to get or what dosage to start with. I tried taking it the other night and only slept two hours, this is why I'm so skeptical of it.

SJ,

Since it keeps you awake at night, you probably shouldn't use it, as losing sleep will be counterproductive to your recovery and could potentially make everything worse.

There can be many reasons for this, including Vitamin/Mineral deficiencies. Try adding extra Vitamin C, D, CoQ10, B complex, extra B12, Omega 3, Probiotics, Ginger Root tea, Boswelia, Noni juice. Try inflammatory remedies like Oregano Oil, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Virgin Coconut Oil, Black seed Oil. You can also try to go to a Chiropractor or if you can find an Osteopathic Doctor. Sometimes we are out of Alignment and it can cause all kinds of Health Issues. To relieve stress pray and meditate or try Tai Chi.

Dear Sherry,

Your body's cells are magnesium deficient, empty! Mg tablets only work as a laxative—-think Milk of Magnesia. Mg must be inside of your cells. Calcium is on the outside. It contracts the muscles causing pain. Mg relaxes your muscles relieving stress, anxiety, insomnia, pain, depression. it calms the body and mind. It is the MASTER of all minerals and vitamins. Thereby making them effective for good health! (For years drs said to take calcium for osteoporosis which only clogged the arteries and caused bone spurs on heels, big toe (bunion), spine, hips, knees, etc, and calcium didn't go to the bones because mg was not in the inside of the cells to make that mineral work. Search online health-and-wisdo.com for magnesium OIL which must be massaged into the skin to reach your cells. First thing upon arising and last at night. The mg gel with aloe is pleasant to the skin. Rub onto feet/toes, legs, torso, underarms (as works as a deodorant), and any place you suffer pain.

Praying for wellness and calmness for you, Sherry!

I was suffering similar symptoms recently. I had sinus problems, gastric pain, inability to breathe, especially at night when I kept waking up gasping. I had night sweats too. Tests showed nothing. My GP decided to treat each symptom as he felt I was very run down. I took Ventolin for the night wheezing, a saline nasal wash, Gaviscon double action for the acid reflux and gastric pain, and paracetamol osteo for the aches and pain.. Two weeks later it has all cleared and I am beginning to feel well again, after months of discomfort. Sometimes it can be a mistake to link all symptoms into something else, when your body is really saying it can't cope with you being really run down. I'm back on all my vitamins and ceased all the medications apart from a sinus spray.
