What Remedy Will Help Pain Where Gallbladder Used to Be?

Posted by Acidpain (Utah) on 04/22/2016

I have a question regarding acid pain on the right side where my gallbladder use to be anyway I have tried going off of the Dreaded Ppi's but the acid pain is excruciating to say the least on my right side. I don't really have acid stomach, just the right side pain. I call it the gallbladder's ghost if I stop the PPIs.. I have tried just regular acid reducing with baking soda and apple cidar vinegar to no avail is there anything else for the right side pain that will stop it..oh and I am taking a probiotic also and watching what I eat...and just started the PPIs up again yesterday..

Thank you...

Acidpain, If your gallbladder is removed they still leave the bile ducts. Most often giving the same symptoms/stones that caused the surgery.

To clear them, a common remedy is Apple Cider Vinegar plus apple juice, in a shot glass 2 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar fill the rest with organic apple juice and drink. You can drink apple juice the day before doing this to soften and dissolve some stones.

There is another shot glass drink that others have used 2 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar in shot glass the remainder is olive oil. I prefer the apple juice one, and is what we use here, in our family.

You most likely need to re evaluate your diet as those stones are forming for a reason. Most likely too much calcium in your diet, or better not enough minerals. A castor oil pack topically can stop the pain also. Once you clear these stones the Apple Cider Vinegar and baking soda remedy will prevent further problems. The bicarbonate is needed to keep those ducts healthy and magnesium is needed to keep them supple and functioning properly. Magnesium citrate is a good one or magnesium malate if you tend to runny stools. 600 to800 mg split into am and pm doses. Acv and baking soda drink 2x a day 1/2 hour after 2 meals, take both 5 days out of seven, to give the body a break to absorb nutrients and dump garbage.

Dr Christopher's Liver/Gallbladder herbal formula would surely help. This is a combination of herbs that clean and stimulate the liver/gall. The amino acid Taurine increases bile production.

You may consider backing up a bit and addressing the liver in particular. The herbal combination of Milk Thistle/Artichoke/Turmeric will restore this organ in many cases but there is also the possibility of Fatty Liver. Lots of nutrients used in this condition like Carnitine, Choline/Inositol, and TMG.

Dear Theresa,

I have found that castor oil packs are wonderful for pain in the gall bladder area. (And pain in other places, too! )

I soak (not dripping) a cloth with castor oil, put it over the liver/gall bladder area, cover with a piece of plastic wrap and apply a heating pad. This is good for the liver. I keep this on over night. (Use a heating pad on warm, or turn off for overnight to reduce risk of burning yourself.)

Dandelion tea is also good for the liver.

You might also look in to digestive enzymes. I had a doctor recommend to me ppi's when apple cider vinegar was not working. I took digestive enzymes instead and it helped me a lot and I never did need to take ppi's.
