Home remedies for scalp pain of shingles? They are very painful. Thank you.

Aspirin mixed with a water based hand lotion works for some people as I discussed here :

So it takes 6 very, very finely ground aspirin for every ounce of lotion to make the shingles lotion.

Are you taking lysine? I didn't know about lysine when I had shingles on my face and scalp. But I did apply pink salt to each sore, it gave me some relief. Read up about shingles here on EC for more tips. I hope you heal quickly from the pain of shingles!
