Can a Power Plates Help Osteoporosis?

I have been diagnosed with severe osteoporosis in my spine and osteopenia in my hip at age 56. My doctors suggest that I be on bone medications, but I would rather do other things to fight it like wearing a weighted vest & weights.
Does anyone know if getting a Power Plate and using that consistently would reverse my osteoporosis if used consistently?
I'm also post menopausal.
