Question For Ted About Sluggish Body

Posted by Diego (Albuquerque, New Mexico) on 06/08/2009

Sluggish Body:

My question is for Ted, as I have seen many other health experts concerning my issue.

As a child I was often sick with asthma and allergies. Now that I'm 26 I've grown out of most of my illnesses through a much improved diet and exercise, and though I look to be in great shape, my sluggish bodily functions remain. The symptoms include sluggish bowels, inability to sweat easily with physical activity, difficulty concentrating, low energy (often dizzy when rising), dry skin, cold extremeties, etc.

So I've done plenty of tests for thyroid function (my mother had most of hers removed) and adrenal fatigue along with mineral defficiencies and they all seem to check out fine. People are even amazed at my "healthy" diet, but I don't have the great health to show for it. I've done some ACV, Wheatgrass, and Coconut oil without much improvement. Are these all lingering effects from my unhealthy childhood? Is there something else I can try to turn it around?

EC: Hi Diego. Your post has been emailed to Ted for response..

Hi!

What worked for me -
NO grains - no bread (not even whole wheat), no rice, pasta, beans. In fact if you never ate another grain for the rest of your life it would be ideal. Finely ground grains unnecessarily and excessively elevate your insulin, leading to low blood sugar and low energy, and blood clots (for me). (Btw, raw grains are toxic, cooking only makes them less so, I can go on ...)

Daily Iodine. I can't stress enough how FOR ME it has worked wonders. Research it, and you are likely to start using Lugal's Solution, three drops or so in a glass of water, swished around in the mouth before swallowing, each morning. I say "For Me" like that as I don't want to be construed as giving medical advice, just relating what has worked for me and is researchable as to what results you could expect.

Although the circulatory system has the heart, the drainage or lymphatic system does not. So I go to a massage therapist when I can afford it to encourage draining/flow.

Summary of what I do: NO grains, (and of course no sugars except fruit), iodine, drink lots of water, massage and exercise.

Hi there Diego,

Go to your nearest health food place and get a good stress tablet (B complex with vitamins C&E). The bottle will say l tablet a day but take 1 tablet at meal time and bedtime. This means take 1 at the time normal people eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, whether you eat then or not! You should be feeling less sluggish in 3 to 4 weeks.
