I can't reach the area, and I am severely immune compromised so I can't have anyone near me to help. instantly now have red and white stripes going down my back and side. what can I spray on it? I can't reach with antibiotic ointment. what can I take internally? I also have a bad liver, kidneys, etc. thank you!

I do a lot of yardwork and get bites and scratches and I use vinegar in the shower and sometimes peroxide and I also buy silver soap and keep it handy just in case .I use the vinegar until ~ when I put it on there is no more stinging, then rinse off the remains, it's an acid and can burn you. I use witch hazel too. You might be able to use vicks brand mentholatum rub on it. You can get cat scratch fever from cats. Another favorite is lugols iodine drops. I got bit twice in two days and lugols worked great to stop the itch burn sting.

Similar thing happened to my dad. He could not reach the area. I sent him to a dollar-store to buy a back-scratcher, a sponge & a roll of duct tape. After taping some sponge to the end of the stick, he was able to apply whatever he wanted to on the area.

To help internally:

* drink 1 cup green tea (nothing added)
* chop up 1 clove of garlic, let sit for 10 mins, then swallow (y'don't have to chew)
* drink 8oz purified water with 1/4tsp baking soda & juice of one lime or lemon (will help alkalize you)
* Do all this every 4 hrs

To help externally:

Castor Oil Packs - a flannel pad, plastic wrap & hot water bottle can get to the general area. They are very healing and bring your body's own healing cells to the site.

If the area is tender or painful, simple white vinegar is amazing and doesn't get the credit it deserves. It doesn't sting. Try to get some on the area, soak a towel and lie down on it, or use a stick with a sponge on the end. Colloidal Silver spray is awesome and can be found at many health food stores. This is also good internally! 1tbsp 3x/day if infected. Therapeutic dose of CS is 1tsp 2x day, so you don't have to stick with tbsp for long, but you do have to knock this thing back, asap.

Do you have any essential oils at home? They are amazing and I am not exaggerating when I say I've seen them perform minor miracles (eg healing a huge blister in 12 hrs, to pink healthy skin). Neem (personal fave), Mint, Lavender, Argan, Frankincense Oils are all fantastic for healing the skin! (there's a reason Jesus got Frankincense as a birth gift)

Hydrogen Peroxide is awesomely healing and most people have that at home.

I know you asked for mostly internal remedies, but I suggest you also need some topical help so this redness does not get out of control.

Best of healing to you.

Hi Stephanie,

I hope you are better! Please keep us updated.

Activated charcoal internally as well as an activated charcoal poultice on the wound is what I would do if I suspected blood poisoning and couldn't get to the ER or in to see a doctor. I would also take lots of turmeric internally as turmeric is a blood purifier.

Not sure about scratches, but cat bites can definitely cause sepsis. A while back I had a client in Atlanta whose cat bit her once on her hand and she ended up very quickly in the ICU with sepsis. That scary dark line from the bite starting to travel up her arm and she rushed to the hospital. Just in time.

HI Deirdre and Earth Clinic, thank you so much for your help!

I used: hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle every few hours and heavily soaked the area on my back, because I couldn't reach with my hand to apply anything. I took a teaspoon of colloidal silver, from the health store, (finished up an old bottle), every 4 hrs for a day, and also ingested black garlic clove, one clove 3x/day for 2 days. And I took 2 turmeric capsules 2x/day, for 2 days. I am ok now and all better, thank you again!

Now I want to try the activated charcoal internally to see if it will help my ailing liver and kidneys, ascites, and extreme thickness all over, from stagnant lymph in my entire body. But I am unsure of how to take it internally, and not have it deplete all of the supplements that I take daily, especially the iron I take for severe anemia, because I bleed extreme amounts 2 weeks per month. My abdomen is larger than a basketball, its scary. So far I tried drinking coconut water, dandelion tea and milk thistle.

Stephanie,

Can I suggest for your heavy bleeding a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses each day, food sources of minerals, if practical, works much better. Will also act as protection for the reproductive system, eliminating fibroids, etc. 🌞

I am so happy to hear you are healing!! I can say that 99% of people who say they will update on here never actually do. Thank you for taking the time.

It sounds like you have a lot going on with you metabolically. Dr Jason Fung has a lot of videos on yt about Intermittent Fasting, which is one thing people with metabolic issues should try. It has changed my life and I had metabolism issues too before I added it to my lifestyle. When you think about it, we evolved to eat food when we found it in the wild, not every 4 hrs. If our bodies are constantly processing food all day, so when is it supposed to have time to heal? I would recommend watching 4 or 5 of his videos, at least, and it will change your body for the better. My own metabolic issues are in my rearview mirror.

Take care now.
