Hi Jr,

A three supplement combination of vitamin B6 as P5P, folate and vitamin B12 are a very good way to significantly lower high homocysteine levels. Here is a typical dosing range you can discuss with your doctor :

1. B6 As P5P - 5 – 25 mg / day

2. Folate as Methylfolate - 800–1000 mcg / day

3. B12 In the Methylcobalamin form ~20–500 mcg / day

In the alternative and for simplicity you can consider a vitamin B complex supplement that utilizes these three specific forms of these supplements in one supplement to discuss with your doctor. These B Complex forms are generally referred to as a "Methylated B Complex".

These complexes should be quite useful for lowering homocysteine levels as you have indicated you are interested in doing.
